Oh, and it's an acoustic set only? Even better! :wacky:

oooooooohhh my god I died when I read this this morning... My sister and I just drove up to Mountain View (from Orange County) to see the Killers on Saturday, 6 hours...Chris is totally worth it! I can't believe he's doing the whole thing by himself..how long will he be performing??

I guess it doesn't matter, I'm going anyway!

You were at the Killers concert on Saturday too? Wasn't

It awesome? :cheesy:

Mountain View, California. It's about a 30 minute drive south from San Francisco!

Unfortunately I just found out that all the good reserved tickets will be auctioned off, and since it's a well-known benefit concert I assume they'll be for pretty high prices. :( The general admission lawn tickets, however, are at fixed prices- $39 I think.

What should I get for my birthday? Coldplay merchandise or this trip?

I'm just wondering if it fully worth it since it would be rather short and it is only Chris.

So is this a bunch of bands playing together? How long will Chris be there?

If he's gonna be there for like 10 min, Im not going...please answer!

At least 20 minutes he should play is what I understand

i live 2 hours away...is it worth the trip and money? I should save this 100 bucks for an actual 2 hr show with the WHOLE BAND, no?

I love no doubt...but i have been to 3 shows already...parents willflip if i waste again

is it worth it

I read the main acts are going to play 40 minutes.

And tix go on sale at noon, Chicago time. Not midnight.

Well only you can answer that. It depends on how much you really want to go. Emma emailed and I guess they said the smaller acts will play anywhere from 20-40 minutes. Where do you live?

is it like general admission? how does this work...is he singing songs from his albums w/o the boys?

LOL. I used to live in LA isn't that like five hours? There is reserved seating, GA is lawn. We don't know what he is singing yet.

just asked mom...yeah its 5 or 6 hours LOL!

i rather see the band, old fashioned style. with a set list...

i thought GA was pit? thats how it is in carson...you pay GA and you queue for the pit and its better than reserved....maybe cuz its a diff stadium

if i had the chance to meet chris, id go...:)

The shoreline doesn't have pit. It's actually on like a hill. I was just there in July to see the band, and I saw the show in Carson which was wayyyyyyy bigger. I plan to record everything!

Oh you were in Carson? Where do you live...

See I likeconcerts like that..plus im in school and saw CP 3 X this summer...im broke, dear.

where did you sit? i was in A2 floor. wanted pit but went with mother that time...she cant stand for too long. i could barely see lol...im only 5'2..good concert. I liked Vancouver better....it was filmed and they had more energy..and i had damn good seats in front row

cool to meet another californian

If anyone can go, I recommend going!

This could* be a once in a lifetime experience!

*well, Chris might go solo someday

I saw them three times in a week this summer haha. I saw them at the Shoreline, Sarcamento, and Carson. I was front row for Sac and Carson and 11th row for Shoreline. I live in Walnut Creek right about 30 minutes outside of San Fran.
