I'm excited:dance:

But I'm not expecting anything anytime soon. I wouldn't be suprised if they didn't release the next album until late 2011. Plus who realy believes anything The Sun publishes anyways?

Sounds good. Although I agree with the poster who said it'll be later than 2010. Probably early 2011.

Whatever happens, I'm just pleased that a 5th album is on the way!!

Didn't Chris say in an interview at some point that he'd like to have another album out before the end of the decade (i.e. 2010), although I could have imagined that :laugh3:

Yeah he did but back in 2008 a litlle after Viva came out, before he knew that the tour will take foooreeeever (aka 1 year and a half!!)...So like Guy said months later, what Chris said was not in order at the presents because they hadn't time to create+record 'good' stuff.... ;)

I would predict late 2010, early 2011 for the new album.

]CHRIS MARTIN, JONNY BUCKLAND, GUY BERRYMAN and WILL CHAMPION head back out to South America next month to continue the live gigs.

:dozey:

Can’t wait to her the demos :freak:

Me too!

Remember that the 2010 date is tentative, and honestly, I don't want the boys to rush it. I might be happier with a 2011 date. Refine the material to its prime, then maybe give us the rest as B-sides or pull another EP.

+1 !

Don't want them to rush as well, they need to be a bit "forgotten" I think :P

Ā

i mean pit tickets.... the best tickets

Sure :wacky:

Here they are way less expensive than the seating tickets though !

Good point.

I think everyone the whole Viva la Vida era has been so huge that they need to be completely forgotten a bit before releasing the next LP.

Ā

In the mean time i'd love them to make something simple like a acoustic album.

There are some great acoustic versions of songs on youtube but the sound quality isn't great and it'd be nice to hear them recorded onto a sort of "waiting for the next LP" album

I do think the clearout sale will help with the 'forgetting-proces' They should do it however fast they need to do it. But I trust they will:nice: And I wouldn't mind it to be released late 2010:P

I really think this album will be amazing! :D I can't wait! :nice: But I have to :( :P

+10000000000 They'll have to start with 'nothing' (so to speak) just like they did back for Parachutes.... and I like that :D

I agree that I am hoping for a more acoustic album. Parachutes is my favorite album. However, whatever it is, it's going to be amazing! Oh man, can't wait for the next tour!!

I'm just having a hard time wrapping my brain around "acoustic" & "Eno."

Ā

And I agree, I think it would be best if they disappear for a bit. While we uberfans don't want that, I think the rest of the world does.
