Well I'm totally impartial on the matter. Although I must admit that I do agree with Sam. Barlow may not have had the solo success but the lyrics he wrote in Take That are far better than anything Robbie has ever released. And lets not forget that he didn't even write angels.

I think he wrote some good lyrics apart from Angels...

No he didn't I'm afraid. The name of the songwriter escapes me but he had it written for him. I just don't think that his lyrics mean anything, he just gets random words to rhyme.

I read that once but I'm not sure actually. Not alll of them, the lyrics of feel definitely mean something for example.

There are definitely people how just like him because of his looks. Anyway, his live shows are great in my opinion. I don't like every song either, but I just can't dislike him...

I also won't say that I hate him....but he is just overrated imo..

Superstar Robbie Williams has sensationally revealed he could quit singing because his career has become a 'monster'.

The 32-year-old former Take That singer says he doesn't see himself singing again and will decide in the next 18 months if he will go on or not.

But while Robbie says he doesn't know if he wants to be part of the music industry 'machine' anymore he fears he may have become addicted to fame.

The shock announcement will leave millions of his fans worldwide on tenterhooks until he makes a decision.

Experts warn the news could even damage his record company EMI, which took a huge gamble when it signed him to a record-breaking £80million contract in 2002.

On the eve of releasing his new single Rudebox, Robbie admitted he craves a normal life.

"I've got to take the view over the next 18 months and see if I want to be part of the machine anymore, because I don't see me singing again," he said in an interview with the Daily Star.

"It's a question of what I want and where I want to be.

"Can I live without radio picking my song and putting it on the playlist?

"Or is this fame thing something I'm addicted to?

"I don't know where I stand with it all at the moment. Do I take things into my own hands and dismantle this monster and have a nice life?"

Dave and mc_squared's last posts say it all...lol!!! Although I have to admit to like ing a couple of his songs...against my better judgement...and when he called Chris aloof and bored last year, i thought it was a pot/kettle/black situation!:confused:

I love robbie!!:heart: I saw him in 2003 and he was fantastic!! Im lucky enough to be able to see him again this december, so I cant wait! This time round it was way harder to get tickets!!! he is doing 2 shows in melbourne, and the first show sold out in 20 mins, i think it actually broke the record. So i missed out and was crushed, but luckily they announced a 2nd show so i lined up overnight (yes i am crazy) to make sure i didnt miss out again. So the show I'm going to is the very last show of his whole tour, and Kylie Minogue will be in town that night as well...I'm hoping she comes that night and sings Kids with him, that would be cool as!!
