Technicolour TX
My son Will is probably one of the youngest CP fans, thanks to his Daddy. :D I play the album "Viva la Vida" almost non-stop in my car, and he's getting to know the album very well. He asks for "Strawberry Swing" all the time, and I sing it to him when he goes to sleep at night. In fact, he hums the song a lot when he's playing with his toys, and sometimes sings "could be blue, i don't mind...." in his adorable toddler speak. Sounds like "cood be buuu, i no maaand". He's also hummed the "Viva" chorus before. I should probably put a little video on Youtube for kicks. If I listen to anything other than the "Viva" album in the car, he yells "No, play Coldplay" and will pitch a fit unless I put it in. No nursery rhymes, no kiddie stuff....he just wants, as he puts it, "Codpway in Dadd's car!!" Cute kid. Good taste in music....;)

Mine are 4 and 2 and I'm in Austin, too! :D My kids particularly love Viva, "puppets" (LiTii), Yellow, Shiver, Strawberry Swing, and "the butterfly song" (LiJ). Looks like our kids are lucky to have such cool parents! ;) You got it !! :D And yes, we are cool parents.... Your little ones sound awesome. He also likes the puppets, and what he calls the "rain show" at the beginning of the Don't Panic" video when the water is falling from the sky. When we watch the Strawberry Swing video he looks for the "mean squirrel" as he calls it, and says "draw the acorn" when Chris draws it and throws it at the squirrel. Funny you mention the butterflies, he loves when they blow onto the screen during the Strawberry Swing video. I was fortunate to catch the band at the San Antonio and Dallas gigs over the Summer and brought him some of the Lovers in Japan butterflies, put them in a frame with a picture of him and me. He calls them his "Cowpway buttaflyes". I've been a Genesis fan all my life (the whole Phil Collins / Peter Gabriel family tree), yet Coldplay, a band I've only known since "Viva" came out, was the first I chose to introduce to him. And he loves them and already knows their sound. Funny, isn't it?

ainsley
OOmg! All you guys's kids are adorable little Coldplayers!!!  My 6 year old sister is obsessed with Coldplay too! She has all the CD's and always listens to one of them before she goes to bed. And I catch her singing to songs all the time  And she always wears my Death And All His Friends t-shirt that I got at my concert :wacky: It doesn't fit me anyway :( And I remember when I told her that I was going to see Coldplay in August. She freaked out crying because she wanted to come to, but then when I brought back two huge bags of butterflies she freaked out even more. Her room is taken over by them now :laugh3: Zoey and I have watched the 2003 LIVE DVD so many times together, and well, she's a 100% Chrissygirl! :smug: She has pictures of Chris all over her room :laugh3: SHe's like a little copy of myself :cheesy:
