Franco has had 3 clea goal chances, it's unbelievable a central attacker could fail those. Oh yes and they blatantly stole a goal to Mexico. Referee said it was offside when there was a defender on the line of goal.

i will admit even i thought itwas a goal at first

 

but the rule is. to be onside there needs to be 2 or more players in front of the attacking player. the best way to look at that situation is pretend that south african defender is the goalkeeper.

South Africa looked good in the last 5 minutes of the first half. Mexico have outplayed them most the match but Bafana Bafana are showing some neat inticate short passing at times. Good on them.

 

dead right deaths friend - it was a sensational call from the linesman! It's so easy to think that just because a players on the line that it isn't off side.
