When I was in England and sent some postcards back home, they told me to do that otherwise "it wont' get there until long after you get home." It actually needed only one , 'cause it was under 50g. I'm pretty sure all the things I've sent abroad have been sent via airmail. The people at the post office automatically put the airmail-sticker on every package I send abroad. It seems there are quite a few people active on the thread who sent one, but haven't heard that it was received.
