I'm definitely hoping new songs!! :] Maybe Car Kids or U.F.O. or another, better quality version of Princess of China! (: I mean the way they make it sound it doesn't seem like it's just changing the setlist. Although then again they are very mysterious. Maybe they're taking out a few of the old songs and putting in new ones. :D Imagine a whole show of songs from the LP5 sessions? Oh my word that would be amazinggg! Probably won't happen but yeah. I can dream.

Since there seems to be a bunch of artists releasing an iTunes Festival EP, do you think the guys will give us a couple of new songs that will strictly be played live? Like Moses was?

I think that would be pretty cool of them, seeing as they have 50+ songs written up for the LP5 era :wacky:

Of topic: We need an 'Excited' mood :phu:

I'm just going to take a wild guess at what the set list would be, realistically speaking.

1. Poltik- start with a bang

2. New song

3. Viva la Vida

4. Charlie Brown

5. New song

6. Clocks

7. Princess of China

Looks like the will only play 5-7 songs because all other ep's from the concert have that many.

Don't hope so, because LP5 should be a surprise... but thats my personal opinion. I don't like it to know 3-4 songs of a album with 10-12 songs.

That's definitely possible. I hadn't thought of that. Or like Ladder to the Sun! :DD

^ Same here. I wouldn't mind all of the new songs making it on LP5 if it had 14-15 tracks, but we know that isn't going to happen so I hope no more than 3 make the cut.

I have a feeling it just might happen for some reason. I just think they're going to realize they have too much good music to compromise down to 42 minutes. They really don't give themselves enough credit. I think 14-15 songs is realistic. There were technically 14 songs on VlV so why not? And with each song 3 and 1/2 to 4 minutes long (for the most part) that's still not even that much when you think about it. :P

Am I the only one who thinks they are going to play NO unreleased songs at all?

I think all we're going to get from the new era is ETIAW, MM and possibly moving to mars... but nothing else.

For that reason, I hope they are going to play some awesome old songs like Spies, but that's me being too hopeful again :)

A realistic setlist would be

1.- Mx / Hurts Like Heaven

2.- Moving To Mars

3.- Clocks

4.- Princess Of China

5.- The Scientist

6.- Viva La Vida

7.- Charlie Brown

8.- Violet Hill

9.- Fix You

10.- Every Teardrop Is A Waterfall

11.- Lost!

12.- Politik

13.- Us Against The World

14.- Major Minus

15.- Speed Of Sound

16.- Yellow

17.- Shiver

18.- A Message

19.- Life Is For Living

20.- Everything's Not Lost

DLIBYH would make it a non-realistic setlist

EDIT: Although every artist has played only 5 or 6 songs on the itunes festival
