This is a bit of a random though, But what do you think the lp6 album cover will look like? I've imagine it like this for some reason:

 

They go back to using Albertus as a font

Maroon background

Some pastely colored thing in the center

And the name starts with an h

I think this time the cover will be very simple and not colourful at all, just like things are going around the world nowadays.

They're not likely to go back to Albertus, much as I wish they would. I like the simpler fonts. They've called the first three albums a trilogy, and that era is over, so they probably won't use the font that harkens back to that era. But I could see hem going back to the simpler graphics of AROBTTH and X&Y. The last two covers have been very complex, and the guys rarely do the same thing twice.

 

It's not likely, but it would be cool to see the guys on the cover, only because it's so atypical of them.

I'd be okay if the cover was just Chris's beautiful blue eyes. :P

I am wholeheartedly against having them be on the cover. Its cover art not cover photo. Leave stuff like that to the greatest hits album, if that ever happens.

I think they are working on it as the end of a second trilogy, so everything from the sound to artwork will at least have a slightly inspiration on the previous albums. About the artwork, I think we should wait for something colorful and with the name of the album on the center. Like they've done on MX and Viva.

Anyways, I hope LP6 takes inspiration from all the work that they've done to this point. As far as album artwork, I think it should be incredibly simplistic. I am also against them being on the cover. Laaaaaaame.

 

Having said all that, I won't care if LP6 is nothing at all like any of that. It'll just be great to have new Coldplay to listen to!

They should have an eye on the cover...but they should do something really unique and awesome with it...not just an eye. I just love eyes though, they are one of the most spectacular things in the world, and they are just beautiful.
