Nice to see someone praising ETIAW and PRDSE for a change!

I think most people here like it, it's just that the minority is VERY vocal. :\

I would like to see the face of the guy that thinks MYLO XYLOTO (track) is a full song.

:laugh3:

Yeah I suppose your right. It just seems like the complete opposite!

Im sure this gonna be my second or maybe favorite album if it's better than X&Y for me. Really excited now. I will end my tour of Coldplay's album this week with X&Y and VLV waiting for a leak

I'm predicting it will be my favourite before we have even heard it aha

It's funny, one of the things the reviewer likes is the truncated, early endings of many of these new songs.

It's those quiet little addendum Chris tacked on to many of the early

songs that I love and miss so much.

Like the "So I crawl back into your open arms......." of Warning Sign.

or "Oh all that I know, there's nothing here........" from Don't Panic.

Like pretty little Post Scripts.

Not trying to be all sad and nostalgic and beat the whole "I miss the old Coldplay" thing to death, but I just found it interesting.

Ok, So I asked the reviewer of Q Magazine (Niall, who wrote this review) a couple of questions (on twitter) and this what he had to say:

He say it's The best and up there with "A Rush of Blood To The Head" and that he liked "Princess of China"

Once again GREAT work Saketz!

I'm counting the days. Can't wait til I can blast the CD in my car on the way to work.

I kind of stopped reading at...

This is actually a spoiler.

the part where they talk about the organ and the beginning of UATW. I wan't to be surprised when I hear these songs...

Thanks. But my name is "Saket".. I sense it's tough to get with all that blitz and stuff..

Anyways, his reply seemed very promising... I think this record will be quality.

Misread your name! Sorry :laugh3:

Yeah I agree. To rank it up with A Rush of Blood.... :dazzled:

Wow!

Nowadays AROBTTH is my favourite album, if Mylo Xyloto is as better or even more I will be very happy!

This is shaping up to be one of those albums that I think i'll be bale to listen to the entire thing straight through. And recently there have been very few coming out that I have been able to do this with. (The Wombats - This Modern Glitch, The Airborne Toxic Event - Self Titled and All At Once, Mumford and Sons - Sigh No More)

Viva La Vida or Death and All His Friends

Plastic Beach - by Gorillaz

21st Century Breakdown and American Idiot by Green Day

these are, I guess, the only albums I can hear through in a rush.

:wideeyed:

Ohhh, I have a feeling that I'm really gonna love Up With the Birds and U.F.O. :wacky:

And I'm curious as to how Princess of China is going to work in the album context

based on the review, everyone that hated ETIAW and Paradise ---> will hate PoC and DLIBYH. looks like UFO and Up With the Birds will be universally loved though. i get the feeling that they will sound kinda like Prospekt's March/Poppyfields

This looks really good.

And, speaking of albums I can listen to in one sitting:

THE KING OF LIMBS <3

This seems to be another short, fun album, and I love these kind of albums: ones that have a concept, a theme, but aren't bloated and long.

agghhhh someone plz hit meeee i cannottt waiitttt moarrrrrrr !!!

Do you know when this issue of Q will be released in the USA? The magazine comes out later here. I would like to see this. Is there anything else in it about Coldplay like photos?
