October 10, 201114 yr It's funny, one of the things the reviewer likes is the truncated, early endings of many of these new songs. It's those quiet little addendum Chris tacked on to many of the early songs that I love and miss so much. Like the "So I crawl back into your open arms......." of Warning Sign. or "Oh all that I know, there's nothing here........" from Don't Panic. Like pretty little Post Scripts. Not trying to be all sad and nostalgic and beat the whole "I miss the old Coldplay" thing to death, but I just found it interesting.

And recently there have been very few coming out that I have been able to do this with. (The Wombats - This Modern Glitch, The Airborne Toxic Event - Self Titled and All At Once, Mumford and Sons - Sigh No More)
October 10, 201114 yr Viva La Vida or Death and All His Friends Plastic Beach - by Gorillaz 21st Century Breakdown and American Idiot by Green Day these are, I guess, the only albums I can hear through in a rush.

October 10, 201114 yr based on the review, everyone that hated ETIAW and Paradise ---> will hate PoC and DLIBYH. looks like UFO and Up With the Birds will be universally loved though. i get the feeling that they will sound kinda like Prospekt's March/Poppyfields
