<3 Coldplay is just AMAZING ! Actually can't wait for this ...:-)

"The second single to be released from the album sounds much better in the context of the record"

:awesome:

Now I'm even more exited if possible!!!

Aah, so close. Doesn't matter though.

*mumbles* Stupid Jason.

:P :laugh3:

Only because I didn't take the time to make it all nice and easy to read for fellow CPers... ;)

Seems like all/most of the songs have a lot of strings and synths on them. I... don't like. Sounds like they're leaving my favourite territory for good to explore more popular and straightforward genres. :(

DLIBYH could be better than I'd expected (A Whisper :dazzled:), Up With The Birds is still a mystery.

Also, "Martin has rarely sung better than he does when Every Teardrop... " Is he joking? I, and many others, think it's really his poorest singing effort of all time... I rest my case.

Don't Let It Break Your Heart: A sister-track to Every Teardrop...

:bigcry:

Nice review! It's so hard for them to get any respect from the critical masses. So happy to hear that it sounds like they have found a balance between Waterfall-big and slowing it down.

And he indirectly says that ETIAW is the best track in the album

Can't wait!

Critics love ETIAW. Not sure why. Rolling Stone in particular has a huge, raging boner for it.

Reading this article has almost pushed me over the edge. This album sounds absolutely perfect to me!

Thanks for posting. :nice:

It sounds great. :wideeyed:

I'm happy for them getting unbiased, fairly balance decent reviews for once.

The only thing that didn't erect my penis was when he compared DLIBYH to 'A Whisper'.

I like the song, but it was still the weakest on AROB...

:P

Also, this confirms what we all knew already, that the track lengths from "All The Music" (i think that was the website) were correct.

I got to share this with you guys, seems there are too many string arangements on the record, and it can be very dangerous, cause at first listen it always sounds massive but aftewardsn it just fades away

no need for that sort of comments....there are kids in this forum

I just thought this needed to be said again.

Well it sounds like they like it. It seems that Us Against The World is quite a bit different on the album than the way it's played live, which is kind of disappointing. It's also disappointing that Don't Let It Break Your Heart is compared to ETIAW and that heavy strings appear all over the album.

However, it has made me slightly more optimistic about the album, I'm expecting Up In Flames to be my favourite track, or perhaps Up With The Birds.
