October 10, 201114 yr Seems like all/most of the songs have a lot of strings and synths on them. I... don't like. Sounds like they're leaving my favourite territory for good to explore more popular and straightforward genres. :( DLIBYH could be better than I'd expected (A Whisper :dazzled:), Up With The Birds is still a mystery. Also, "Martin has rarely sung better than he does when Every Teardrop... " Is he joking? I, and many others, think it's really his poorest singing effort of all time... I rest my case.

October 10, 201114 yr Well it sounds like they like it. It seems that Us Against The World is quite a bit different on the album than the way it's played live, which is kind of disappointing. It's also disappointing that Don't Let It Break Your Heart is compared to ETIAW and that heavy strings appear all over the album. However, it has made me slightly more optimistic about the album, I'm expecting Up In Flames to be my favourite track, or perhaps Up With The Birds.
