I wonder if MX will break the tradition of having a simple black disc. This is by far the most colourful artwork they've ever done so this would be the most logical time to break that tradition.

X&Y was blue.

I like their black ones slightly better than their blue ones.

Edit: Or white like ETIAW was. I dont know what color singles have been in other eras?

I predict a pinkish purple on the disc, no way they will just have a black disc with the colours they've been using for their artwork so far.

Love that CD cover and art-book! Spend hours looking for all the little secrets in the songs. Cannot wait for the deluxe edition so i can see all the MX art in full detail :D

Yeah, I think so. Rush was dark gray, X&Y was navy blue, and Viva and Proskpekt's March were black. So they haven't all been black, just dark, muted colors.

ETIAW CD single was white, so i'm gonna stick out like a sore thumb and say white CD with blue writing!:lol:

I think the CD has a solid color, but it's a striking color, like Leftrightleftrightleft ;)

I think because of all the graffiti stuff, They will inevitably paint and spray the CD and write Mylo Xyloto, Parlophone and Copyright stuff on it.

Maybe it will glow in the dark :P

MAYBE, they'll do what Scout Niblett did and release only 100 copies of the album and each version of a song is custom and different than each one who bought a another copy and do what she did and release it on 3'' CD format. :wink3:

 

EDIT: Actually, say Major Minus (random song I know) was released as a single...they could actually do that like she did, have it a custom/different version than anyone else's copy out of the 100.

I think it will be a really "shiny" blue
