All of their opening tracks, excluding Don't Panic, could open up their shows perfectly...and they have. I think each song makes the perfect opener to its respective album, but taken out of context of the albums there can be no greater than the mighty Politik! Prospector Posted October 24, 2011 Share Posted October 24, 2011 Politik, Square One and Mylo Xyloto are all awesome songs, but as a starter I think Life In Technicolor works better it feels like a prelude to the amazing album Viva is. Even tho I love Square One, and Politik is def one of my favorites, Life in Technicolour is the perfect soundtrack for the "dream" that is the Coldplay live experience. Aaaaaand it puts you right in the mood for the Viva Era. Square has the same effect, but not in the same way and Politik is awesome, but it doesnt scream AROBTTH, imo.
