What is Coldplay's best ending track? Although I love the second part of Up With the Birds, I'd have to go with Death and All His Friends/The Escapist.

Wow, surprised how all of them are exceptionaly good, never really thought about it. It's a tough call, but I'll go with--predictably--Amsterdam. After all, it's probably my favourite Coldplay song.

Gah, I don't know. Coldplay's ending tracks are always among the best of their respective albums . . . I guess it's a threeway tie between Amsterdam, Death And All His Friends / The Escapist, and Up With the Birds :nod:

I really am loving UWTB. It sounds like it could be from a movie. But Amsterdam has my heart; in fact, the last half of AROBTTH is perfect (except for A Whisper!). Wait, the first half of AROBTTH is perfect!

Definitely Amsterdam for me. None of the other closing tracks have come close! Well, maybe Everything's Not Lost, but it's the runner-up for sure...

 

Oh, and X&Y's should be changed to Twisted Logic/Til Kingdom Come since technically TKC is a hidden track just like Life Is For Living and The Escapist...

Really hard question. I won't vote because to me there is a tie between Everything's Not Lost/Life is for Living, Amsterdam and Up With the Birds

Does The Escapist count? If it does, I'll go for that. :P

DAAOHF/The Escapist, I wish the Escapist wasn't attached to it. I like the Escapist but if it was up to me, DAAOHF will be the closing song. I like how I feel after listening to it.

They are all really great but I am stuck between Amsterdam and Everything is Not Lost/Life is for Living, but I would have to go with Everything is Not Lost/Life is for Living because having Life is for living as the hidden track to Everything is Not Lost just makes it that much better!

As a closer, DAAHF. But Amsterdam is the best song in general on the list.

Amsterdam and Death and All His Friends but, finally I vote for DAAHF

Although Amsterdam is one of my favorite songs, Death and All His Friends/The Escapist is the best closing track in my opinion.
