Been to Cologne, 2 days ago. and that show was of course amazing too(didn't even had the time to reply there at the topic lol), but this was was even BETTER. because the location and weather was great, the audience was fantastic. Coldplay Respect! Posted September 7, 2012 Share Posted September 7, 2012 Just a short message to you all. I arrived in the Hague at 7.30 this morning where I joined Ellen, Row and Tash. It was lovely meeting them all and some other Coldplayers. Waiting till 3 pm seems long, but time went very fast. When gates opened and they finally had scanners that worked, I ran up front. But I lost sight of Ellen and Row and had to walk the last bit, because of breathing trouble from asthma. And then I couldn't find the girls in the golden circle.... I called Ellen and found them, I tried to pass the people, but the last person I had to pass didn't want me to.... So that was a bit sad. After 10 minutes of being a bit grumpy about that, I decided to not let it ruin my day and experience and even chatted a bit with the girls that didn't want me to pass. Then came the looooong wait, but it was SO worth it. At 9 the boys started and I've been dancing, singing, jumping, screaming and enjoying every millisecond of it! The boys all were very happy and appreciative of the sound that we were making. I've seen a lot of smiles of appreciation and joy on Chris' face, which is great to see. I managed to make some videos and shoot a looooooot of pictures, with which I think there are a couple really nice ones. But I'll organise that after a well deserved sleep. Cause the way back took me about 3,5 hours.... I did catch the train to Utrecht, but because that was a stoptrain, we arrived there too late to get the train to Ede-Wageningen. So at 1 am I had to get a cab... Luckily I was able to share it with 4 others, but it's by far not ideal. Anyways, I'm home. Sunburnt, freakin' tired, but oh so satisfied and happy. I just read through some of this thread. Haven't time to do it all. But I can't believe what a rush of emotions. From nervous, excitement on the long wait. We were there at 7am. To the scanners on the gates not working. Seeing others being let in before us. To being so sad and cross after being the first ones there and still of getting our front row position. To ecstatic when some VIPs gave up their front row position, so that Ellen and I could get there! I love every single second. Yes the three hundered meter dash, to the front, nery killed me, the stand was long, but all of it, everything was made better when the gig started. Amazing. Chris said they have the best fans in the world. But we have the best BAND in the world! More later when I am home. I have to catch a plane! Love to: Ellen. My honey honey, Tash, Thank god we got our fronts! Jacolien. Hope the sunburn is ok! Blue nails and her mum. You totally TOTALLY both rock! I love you guys. And all of you I have forgotten. sjors93 Posted September 7, 2012 Share Posted September 7, 2012 Yesterday was crazy. I arrived at 12:52 pm, met my friend at the station and we went to Malieveld. We sat there for two hours, waiting for the doors to open. Surprisingly enough, I was the first of the first entrance that they opened, there was a little bit chaos and they closed it again, but I was the only one who got through. When the doors went open, I took a crazy sprint. Almost fell down haha, but kept going with my friend. There was one guy in front of me, so I managed to get a great spot, 2 meters away from Jonny and Chris. Fantastic position, concert was great. Best part of the show was Warning Sign, and Oh Oh Den Haag after that. Princess of China was a disappointment. But, fantastic show, had a great but long day haha!
