December 15, 201114 yr i am trying to keep fit and not gain the extra pounds in winter and so i decided to work out a bit everyday! can you guys advice me of about 10 coldplay songs itself or any other band or song that the guys have talked about in the years which would make a good workout playlist???? :P:P:smug:
December 15, 201114 yr I'm actually a fitness instructor and have to program playlists for classes all the time. The key is finding music that motivates you. Obviously, you want upbeat, energetic songs for cardio & if you are lifting weights, songs with a steady, moderate beat would help with pacing.
December 15, 201114 yr I'm sorry but now when I read Coldplay and "workout" in the same sentence, I just think about this: [ame= ] [/ame]
December 15, 201114 yr Mylo Xyloto / Hurts Like Heaven Glass of Water Lovers in Japan Daylight i guess
December 15, 201114 yr HLH has really been helpfull for me, as well as CB, DLIBYH and PoC. Agreed! Along with Violet Hill and EWIAW!
December 15, 201114 yr Rainy Day and Glass of Water are good ones  I have a whole Coldplay Workout playlist :wacky:
December 15, 201114 yr Politik, Cemeteries of London, Violet Hill, Hurts Like Heaven, Sleeping Sun...

December 15, 201114 yr I have about 98% of Coldplay songs on my iPod and I walk when I am at work (on break!). I find MOST Coldplay songs work. HLH and Lovers in Japan are two great ones, as some have said.

Upbeat, dancy, poppy songs are the way to go. --MX/HLH --Good Feeling by Florida --Im Sexy & I know it --ETIAW --Paradise --Scheibe by Lady Gaga --Shake It Out by Florence & The Machine --Where Have You Been by Rihanna --Charlie Brown --Without You by David Guetta --AHT/DLIBYH --All The Lovers by Kylie Minogue If you ask me next month, it's very likely that I will have a different playlist
December 15, 201114 yr I'm lazy, especially in the winter, and so most of the advice in this thread is useless to me until I decide to get fit and do some actual exercise. In the meantime, I shall just watch this instead :laugh3: I'm sorry but now when I read Coldplay and "workout" in the same sentence, I just think about this:  LOVE IT!!!!!!!! (And totally agree: Chris is freakin' sexy even if he's not so sure of it sometimes!)
December 16, 201114 yr Although they are all necessarily by Coldplay, here's what I use: Knights of Cydonia - Muse Clocks (Toronto 2006 and Holland 2005) AHT / DLIBYH GPASUYF (any new live version) Live And Let Die - Guns N' Roses Mr. Brightside - The Killers Violet Hill All These Things That I've Done - The Killers Glass Of Water ETiaW 42 (LRLRL version) Chinese Sleep Chant Walls - Manic Drive Stockholm Syndrom - Muse Map of the Problematique - Muse Uprising - Muse Take Me Away - Plain White T's ----- It also helps to arrange the playlist so that the energy of each song flows into the next. For example, I start with GPASUYF, which segues into Knights which segues into AHT / DLIBYH. Good luck :)
December 16, 201114 yr Forget the upbeat ones. The slow ones will do just fine! :laugh3: [ame=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sH5qIZwaBt0]Coldplay - Funny - YouTube[/ame]
December 16, 201114 yr Aaah the times when I needed a belt... Is there someone from California? I need tips on how not to eat yet not die. I like running and listening to MX.
