August 5, 201213 yr ^ Just the single is out on the radios tomorrow... no info about video or anything
August 5, 201213 yr I went back to the illustrator/art director Alex Fuentes' blog (http://losfokos.tumblr.com/). he has an update as of Aug 1, posted below. He says the video should be completed this (last) week... So… hey. It’s official. A couple weeks ago the band Coldplay announced the project I’ve been working on. It’s basically a comic book mini series telling the story of their main character Mylo Xyloto. Which is also the name their latest album. The mystery behind this peculiar name baffled their fans for quite sometime. Originally the comic was supposed to be an animated film but time was an issue… and so our sequentially illustrated version was born. There is still some talk of the film being made, though. Mark Osborne, director of the first Kung Fu Panda, is writing the comic, along with script writer Dylan Haggerty. Steve Hamaker, colorist of the classic Bone series, is also on board. The first 3 issues are done and I am currently working on the 4th. Also in the works is a music video I helped art direct that coincides with this project. That should be wrapped up sometime this week. The book will be released in Feb, 2013. A small run was sold at Comic Con a few weeks ago and possibly another batch will be available prior to it’s official release. The cover for this pre-release was done by Vladmir Shelest. Lots more to come…
August 6, 201213 yr I love the artwork, I love Hurts Like Heaven :dazzled: I want the Starbucks Single Version  *link removed by Moderator* <-- Awesome quality download of the Starbuck Hurts like heaven, which i think is official
August 14, 201213 yr A few weeks ago i already posted that surprisingly HLH was played on our german radio-station (SWR1),i really went like that ->:stunned::stunned::stunned: As for the video (if there will be one), i would like to have something as the ETIAW-Video,colourful and energetic. This would be a great final for the MX-Era IMO... I just was thinking the same for the video, with a lot of colour and paint cans, very energetic, also for the radio version I would say that there could be a 10 secs intro (the last 10 from MX)
August 20, 201213 yr This 1-track promo is currently on ebay. Unfortunately only the radio edit, no instrumental. http://www.ebay.com/itm/COLDPLAY-Hurts-Like-Heaven-promo-1-track-CD-single-/110938154269?pt=Music_CDs&hash=item19d46de51d#ht_1083wt_932

August 20, 201213 yr ^Really want an instrumental also. Might bid for the promo. How come it aint up in the recordings section of Coldplay.com ?
August 20, 201213 yr Now what the heck is that( I'm sad. Last single off MX, no b-sides, no nothing... So what, for the next album it's going to be just one HALF of a song per single? This is true. These 1-track digital download singles are really starting to get on my pip. One or two an album, fair enough, but all but one?! :P Incidentally, I've noticed that the only ones keeping the art of the B-Side going recently have been the non-electronic indie bands, groups such as Maximo Park and the like.
August 20, 201213 yr I know this maybe jumping, does ANYONE know when the video will be out? we already know what its gonna be about.. hurry up and show us coldplay! stop teasing
August 20, 201213 yr Concerning the video, I found this quote.. "The music video for Hurts Like Heaven will be released sometime in August according to San Diego Comic-Con International. They say it will be an animated music video based off of the Mylo Xyloto comic series." Not sure if this is believable, because August only has about a week left. If it is true, they'd better release it soon!
August 20, 201213 yr Hurts Like Heaven enters the Alt. Rock songs this week at #38. http://www.billboard.com/column/chartbeat/chart-highlights-mariah-carey-returns-to-1007863982.story?utm_source=most_recent#/column/chartbeat/chart-highlights-mariah-carey-returns-to-1007863982.story?utm_source=most_recent
August 21, 201213 yr This is true. These 1-track digital download singles are really starting to get on my pip. One or two an album, fair enough, but all but one?! :P Incidentally, I've noticed that the only ones keeping the art of the B-Side going recently have been the non-electronic indie bands, groups such as Maximo Park and the like. Keane are still doing b-sides as well (and good ones at that), which makes me very happy... They say they only do it for the fans, which I think is brilliant and the way to see those songs: as a way of getting an extra song to your fans. But the b-side is indeed dying and it's an utter shame.
