Months ago Starbucks release Hurts Like Heaven single version on iTunes as Starbucks Single of the Week.

Did you notice, there are some weird noises in first 18 seconds that the album version dosen't include.

Thank you for posting this !! I hadn't heard that one before !

That animated music video as a background of the comic seems to be a very exciting and interesting :awesome:

I think the Starbucks single IS the single edit. I'll eat my hat if it isn't. I think this comic is just uber awesome, although personally, if coldplay had stuck with the double album idea, they would have fit enough in so that the story of the comic would at least have been passed through correctly.

Even though this is supposed to be the story of the album, i'm still going to stick with boy meets girl, graffiti and japanese rihanna.

If I were coldplay though, i would hold off releasing HLH for now, unless I'd like to be absolutely stomped on by Linkin Park's Lost In the Echo and the next single from Talk That Talk.

...And in fact, if you listen at the streaming link in the AllAccess email promotion above, you will see the radio edit length is 3:59, whereas the Starbucks version was 4:20, so while they have seemingly identical intros, they are *not* the exact same versions.

The single version is downloadable from AllAccess now, but it's unfortunately blocked for those not among the select few to be on the list to have access to it, ironically.
