So the band just added some lyrics, made a bit of a remix and that's all?

 

Disappointment. The whole melody/composition has been written and composed by another chap.

 

That's not the way it used to be. It reminds me Madonna/Lady Gaga style of "music" - rehash and ripoff.

Yeah it´s a bit disappointing because it´s not a real Coldplay song.

I think Jon Hopkin´s original recording would be awesome as an opener for a Coldplay concert.

I was too a bit disappointed, but honestly, I love Coldplay and Jon Hopkins, so that makes Midnight even better! For me at least.

To be fair it should be sorta "Amphora (ft Coldplay)".

 

And it's also annoying they are pushing Midnight like one of the key tracks.

^You shouldn't be annoyed, so was Talk and the main riff wasn't even theirs!
