Coldplay posted to Facebook and I almost had a heart attack . . . just a happy birthday announcement for ARoBttH :P

Do we think the symbols on the new Global Citizen t-shirt have any hints of the new era? I am mostly thinking of that damn smiley face making a return specifically on the Coldplay shirt... What are the other symbols? A flame? A globe? Which are global citizen inspired and which are Coldplay inspired?

I'm seeing a pattern with those circles with images inside them. Look at the pinned tweet on their twitter. Now look at the circles on the shirt. Coincidence? I think not.

The shirt was designed by Chris so it might be a hint.

The smiley face will very very probably feature in the LP7 era. Hopefully not in the album cover, in my opinion...

 

I don't think it will be the cover for AHFOD... just saying this based on the band's history of great album covers. But I do like this shirt :)

I like the shirt, but I really hope the smiley face isn't a prominent feature on the cover. It would be really cheesy and a big letdown after all of Coldplay's classy album covers.

 

I have high hopes, though; I've liked all of Coldplay's album covers and I don't see why this one would be any different :nice:

I can't imagine Coldplay putting a smiley on their album cover. Even if it's an artsy one. They simply won't do it.

That seems plausible. If AHFOD is the brightness of day and GS is the dark of night, a rainbow color scheme would fit well. The rainbow comes out when the storm ends... :thinking:
