I'm really intrigued by Birds, sounds kind of Arcade Fire-y

Birds sounds like a calmer version of Hurts Like Heaven.

AHFOD is a really nice track.

The hard part is staying away from the track descriptions here!

That is indeed the hardest part lol. Especially now that some people are saying the live version is better. My hopes keep going up and down, but I going to just wait until I hear the entire thing. This is the shortest wait for a Coldplay album I have had. I definitely would like to experience the entire thing for the first time on the official release. I have never done that before, so I am making sure I do this time. Just 10 days!

Lets be honest, Birds sounds horrible in that snippet. AHFOD doesn't sound too bad. But birds sounds awful lol.

 

Sorry. But just this snippet seems more original than almost anything that cold did before viva.

So its just a matter of taste, and I like the quality of the sound on that snippet.

I didn't know if you were just talking about the quality haha ^^'

My opinions so far (on the snippets, I know we have to wait for the whole songs to be sure)

 

1. AHFOD - loved the live version, but NOO, unfortunately it sounds oversproduced in that snippet ! Hope the rest of the song will sound better.

2. Birds: WEIRD ! Reminds me of Magic. Not too fond of the sound, but will depend on whether it has a good melody or not in the end

 

Can't wait for HFTW in 5 mins !
