Well, got a 2nd chance, praying I get them this time.

Can anyone who got tickets for the 1st July please tell us what you did. I know its mainly luck but please answer the following...

1) Did you have one site open? (gigsandtours or seetickets) or multiple open?

2) Did you have any luck on your phone

Logic says we should try and replicate what people who got tickets did.

I had 2 laptops (1 See, 1 G&T) and my phone, didn't get through on any of them.

I'm in a queue for this already, 6 hours early :laugh3: I doubt that will increase my chances of getting one though...

there are 1000 more seats available for this one though

Why?

EDIT: Ah, the presale codes.

Not much luck with the next batch either though really. All go to pricks selling on for a profit

I had Seetickets opened on Internet explorer (lol) and Gigsandtours opened on firefox.

Seetickets never worked, always stayed on waiting page.

Gigsandtours crashed once, then I refreshed it and waited for approximately 15 min. Then BOOM, the tickets's page appeared.

Please READ CAREFULLY the following:

IT WAS ALL MENTIONING " Tickets are not available". BUT, you have to keep pressing madly F5 to refresh the page. I did this for 5 min, with tickets coming and going. Sometimes only 1 ticket was available, sometimes 2. But when I clicked on Buy tickets, it didn't work. So I kept trying again and again, and finally got 2 Choirs tickets ! Even though the page was saying "Coldplay tickets have now sold out"

Haven't even tried.

:)

really really hope and pray i can get 2tickets to this. if i do somehow manage to be successful i might make a little trip out of it and go to arcade fire on the 3rd in hyde park seeing as im travelling over from ireland. wouldnt be a bad few days. fingers crossed and good luck to everyone!!

Same here. I had Seetickets as well as Gigsandtours open in Google Chrome. First in queue voor almost 30 minutes, with the mention "sold out", but after a while I got to the tickets page and saw "not available" for all the categories. I had exactly the same experience, with suddenly popping up 1 ticket for gallery, then 2 for circle, then 1 for stage, etc. When I would click 'buy', I would get this screen:https://twitter.com/Politikbauk/stat...486272/photo/1 (don't know if you can read it, it's small)

Then I saw some categories change from "tickets not available" to "sold out", but there were still some 3 or 4 categories which didn't mention sold oud, so I kept trying.

And then suddenly I got through at Seetickets and got a screen with the payment and billing information.

So just keep trying, even though it seems as though it's sold out in the queue!

Good luck!

I had exactly the same as you Bauk, except I did not manage to get through to billing (and I was on SeeTickets)

I used gigs and tours, I had the page open on the tickets page, and then hit refresh at bang on 0930 (according to an atomic clock on a website). Even then I was placed in a 15 second queue twice, before I eventually got onto the booking page, where there were only 2 ticket selections remaining - boxes and the circle. I think it's probably partly down to luck, partly down to timing and being patient once you're in the queue. Good luck at 4pm to everyone that's trying again :)

Do they ever do a slow feed? We have it here with ticketmaster and it has brought me some luck. 4 hours I sat and F5'd but it got me my GA tix to Radiohead

I hope everyone who needs to get sorted in the sale at 4pm gets sorted and those scumbags who have bought tickets purely for financial gain get stuck with them.

Don’t see it somehow sadly.

Know what's sad? I had two of the highest price tickets and then my card got rejected. No idea why.

Should I refresh & hit F5 when I am in the 20-sec-line?

Not sure that would work?

Doesn't the timer just refresh itself to 20secs again?

Yes it does refresh itself again - every 20 secs.

But should I hit F5 in these 20sec. too?

I dunno if it will change anything. You could try though!

Excitement level rises once again this day. Jesus :dead:
