I saw them last Saturday at the Hurricane Festival! It was a nice performance and I especially liked "You Only Live Once". The frontman also destroyed a MTV cam which always drove along the stage with his microphone. :lol:

Going to the Oxegen festival. One of the days of it is my 18th birthday:cool: So it's sort of like the ultimate birthday gift from my parents (except for the fact that um................ I'm paying for it.... :confused: :laugh3: ).

well that's perfect. i have a franz ferdinand gig next week that's also like some sort of gift for good grades and all this year, except i payed the ticket, but they will pay everything else cus the concert is our capital city and i plan to stay there for 5-6 days.

You know, for all the bashing I've seen towards their new album(I haven't heard it)--"Juicebox" is simply an amazing song.

the bashing of the new album is really unjustified ... i don't know what people were expecting but it is a good album and i think its probably just as good as their others.

 

i actually think Is This It is the worst album of the lot. but worst is the wrong word because it is still good :)

hey guys have you seen the new You Only Live Once video, its awwsome!, i was wondering if you have it allong with the other strokes videos. Also i was looking for a good sound recording of a live show, or maybe the Ep's that have some of them, thanks anyway.:)

I love The Strokes. :D Been one of my favourite bands for a year now, since I got both Is This It and Room on Fire in the same week. A friend introduced me to them. :D

I'm seeing them on Sept. 22. They are opening for Tom Petty. Of course I like Tom Petty, but I wish he was opening for the Strokes, not the other way around. :(

yes...the current setlist!!!!...do they change the songs they play in every show!?...like Interpol they change like 4/5 songs of the setlist!...well I dunno!
