The first album is excellent. I fell in love with them as soon as I heard it.

 

The second album is appalling. Whatever they had, they've lost it completely. Badly written, badly performed, terribly mixed. 12:51 is good, so is Reptilia. Everything else is instantly forgettable.

 

Hmm...I think Is This It is definately a better album, though I still think did a good job with Room On Fire. If people get into the Strokes though I do think they should buy the first ablum if any, for sure. :)

Uhh, I just heard from a guy that The Strokes were a real dissapointment at the Auckland Big Day Out. He said that Julian was wasted and barely audible.

And all the Metallica bogans are just waiting for them in the middle of The Strokes set.

 

I hope they get heaps of support at the BDO here, even though their personal shows haven't even sold out yet. :/
