I haven't listened to it either. I listened to the short phone interview. I want the album as a whole. And I can wait for few more days.

I can't get enough of the new songs. This Isn't Everything You Are, New York, Called Out in the Dark.

Life-ning lyrics made me tear up when i heard it for the first time.

I hope that with this album, people will start to appreciate Snow Patrol for what they really are and not for only Chasing Cars. Though i guess it's too much to ask as it didn't really happen with Hundred Million Suns.

 

I'm also hoping to finally see them live. hopes hopes hopes

& album the listening party is tonight! ...a wee bit gutted that there was no London venue/date, but then Fallen Empires is unleashed to all on Monday anyway. :dozey:

They played The Symphony tonight on Radio 1... pretty good, but not feeling it quite as much as the other songs they've released. It goes on for a bit too long, I think. Anyone else hear it?

If Amazon delivers my copy late, like they did for my Mylo Xyloto CD, I will not be happy.

Usually I'd cut myself some slack with a leak like this, because I've already ordered the album to be delivered to me, but I think I'm going to wait for once :D. That is, unless my CD+DVD takes RIDICULOUSLY long to ship to America from the UK...in that case I'll buckle :P

The Symphony and New York are best, based on first listen. Life-ning and This isn't Everything You Are are both highlights as well. Excellent album

For those who've heard it, is the record completely different from the last two albums?

I'm loving this album! Am only at 'In The End', but I doubt they can do anything to change my mind now :p I'm picking up the Deluxe Edition tomorrow, can't wait for that :)
