Someone in a Facebook group I'm in said something about seeing the band in Paris on Monday but didn't clarify anything when I asked when it was announced

It's a French talkshow which they'll appear in. Glad some fans managed to get it because that's often tricky with these things!

So they played Orphans during the show and Everyday Life afterwards, that one will be broadcast on 23 December. Then the fans in the room (bless them) bullied them into playing Champion Of The World but Will and Guy didn't feel like it hehe so Chris and Jonny played it acoustically! But it probably won't be aired unfortunately...

no but it's not that deep, maybe there were also productional reasons or whatever why they couldn't do a full band version. Surely they didn't go "ehhh nope" and walk away haha

Because I'm the backing track stickler, I'm going to point out that the vocals on Orphans are live, but the instruments on Orphans are not. Or at least Jonny's guitar isn't live. :(
