We are indeed lucky to be their fans. They are genuinely nice people. Sadly not everyone believe that. I once told my friend how nice the boys are and she said it is all an act to get good press. If it is an act, how can they keep it up all the time??? It got to be real. Chris is so caring to ask you to watch for cars. He spent time with you even though he was in a hurry to pick up his daughter. Gwyneth once said in an interview that Chris is very appreciative. He appreciated that you went to see him. Not many celebrities are like that. :)

 

I know! It makes me mad when people who don't even follow them judge them without knowing them. I'm like, have you ever listened or read a single interview about these guys?

I just realized its been four years since I've been a Coldplay fan, so I had to share a secret with you guys..

 

This is all it toke for me to become a Coldplay fan.. this is how it started.. this 30 second commercial, it was meant to be, I saw it during the Superbowl.. Viva La Vida was the very first song I loved by Coldplay.. and are you ready for this?

 

For the longest time, I thought that Chris was just wearing his jacket in this video and no shirt.. that's how it always looked to me.. haha, but then I discovered that he was :)

I guess for me that should be the concert I attended last year, but I've known them for much longer. I have memories of the music videos of Talk and The Scientist, but not like a moment that I really know I heard them first... And I also still try to figure out why my ears weren't open for their music earlier. I mean, the last few months it has been soooo meaningfull to me and my life. I should have known them earlier!

Ohh Jacolien, your so sweet. That's very kind of you to share that :) I love hearing the moments from people of when they first realized they loved Coldplay. They really are something else.. I mean I could fill a whole journal up of why I love them.. I've been seriously considering doing it and then try to give it to them.

 

They deserve to know what they've done in my life and what an influence they've been.. I mean sometimes I just can't put it into words.. of how much I love them and their music, I would start crying if I tried to tell them.

 

To me it's an honor that they share their music with the world and to be a fan because we didn't deserve music THAT great and beautiful... they have no idea, seriously.. no other band has had such a great influence on me as them and I can cry just talking about it because I feel like I owe them so much... I atleast want to be able to tell them Thank You for the music if I only had a second to talk to them. I've made that now a goal in life before I die.. I HAVE to tell them at the very least thank you.. if I'm able to tell them more and have the opportunity to do it then.. well...

 

I've gotten to the point where my most favorite songs by them, whenever I listen to them, they just makes me cry.. I don't know why.. but I just cry a lot of times when listening to them. I don't know if its because I'm stunned... amazed, honored, caught in the moment or what but.. its a thing of pure beauty and wonder. A lot of things have happened because of their influence and I'm so happy it did happen and I want to thank them for that.

 

I seriously think I will faint if I see them in concert if I'm crying over live videos of them on YouTube.. I'm afraid to know what will happen when I'm actually in their presence.
