That's what I think, or so it seems from the videos I've watched so far, as I haven't been to a Coldplay concert before the MX era. Maybe the shows were generally in a bit smaller venues ? Maybe it was less about the show ? I think that during this era they really want to blow our minds with the light show and the fireworks and all the visual effects, so maybe they feel that talking wouldn't suit this kind of very upbeat, dynamic, energetic and visually striking shows ?

I'd love if Chris would talk more. This reminds me of that show they did on July or August 2008, for BBC(2?), at a very tiny small venue. At some point Chris reads out loud a note on his piano and he's like: "WHAT ?...TALK MORE ?!" :lol:

I want to watch that one again :wacky:
