mc_squared
^How can anyone be sure that's all true? Typical press sh*t-stirring if you ask me. Anyway, this has nothing to do with whether he's a nice guy or not. The competition should be about talent, not personality.:dozey:

Danyl appears to be a gentleman, and very genuine... ignore the idiots who write that stuff... they write it for one reason only... and that is because they know people want to read gossip... gossip sells papers! iPsy
Simon Cowell has suggested that recent stories in the media may have damaged Danyl Johnson's popularity with X Factor viewers. The music mogul's protégé found himself in the bottom two for the first time last night, but he was ultimately given another chance to impress the public when his sing-off rivals Miss Frank were voted off. Johnson's setback followed a series of allegations surrounding his behaviour behind the scenes. Earlier this month, Louis Walsh claimed that Johnson had bullied his girl group Kandy Rain. The former strippers later spoke out themselves to accuse Danyl of making hurtful comments at the X Factor house. Meanwhile, it was reported yesterday that the schoolteacher had made rival contestant Stacey Solomon cry by making a jibe about her family. Speaking on The Xtra Factor last night, Cowell announced: "I think I'm going to have to get to the bottom of lots of the stories that are going around, people saying he is bullying them and stuff. I don't believe them, but I think that they have an effect and we're going to have to clear that up. "People just don't seem to like him. There have been stories written about him that people are not getting on with him, and he is going to have to put his side of the story across." X Factor chiefs are said to have held crisis talks following last night's shock result. http://www.digitalspy.co.uk/xfactor/news/a183720/cowell-blames-rumours-for-danyl-setback.html
iPsy
X FACTOR SHOCKS!: John And Edward IN BOTTOM FOUR! Rachel WON THE PUBLIC VOTE LAST WEEK! http://www.dailystar.co.uk/news/view/105910/X-FACTOR-WINNERS-SHOCK/ TERRIBLE twins John and Edward are NOT the viewers’ favourites to win, despite reports claiming the brothers are ahead in the public poll. In fact, on Sunday the gruesome twosome only escaped the bottom two by a tiny 0.5% of the votes. And the 18-year-olds have never been out of the bottom four since the X Factor public votes began. Last week’s vote winner was actually talented teenager Rachel Adedeji, senior show sources confirmed. Danyl Johnson, 27, and Lloyd Daniels, 16, came out on top in previous weeks. The news is a devastating blow to Jedward fans. It means they will need a top performance to avoid the sing-off, which would mean certain elimination. Because Simon Cowell, 50, Dannii Minogue, 38, and Cheryl Cole, 26, have all made clear their dislike for the twins. A show source said: “This is going to blow the whole competition wide open now. “People were actually starting to believe that the twins were going to win. “But now it seems their days are well and truly numbered. They could even be out this week. “And Rachel, who no-one fancies, has been piling up the votes this last week.” Bookies were forced to slash their odds on John and Edward to win from 150-1 to 12-1 after dodgy reports on Monday claimed that they were on top. Even Simon has been sweating over the prospect, saying: “If they win it will be the biggest disaster in X Factor history.” But yesterday our well-placed source on the hit ITV1 show came forward to expose the truth. The insider revealed that even though everyone is talking about the twins, hardly anyone is actually voting for them. The news will be a shock to their mentor Louis Walsh, 57, who insisted that they still stood a chance of winning after he was left with no other acts in the competition. But it is Rachel, 18, who is pulling in the votes, despite falling into the bottom two in the first live shows. Simon even blasted her for being “invisible”, saying: “Her personality is an issue. I know nothing about her.” Yet the young lass won praise from guest mentors Robbie Williams, 35, Michael Bublé, 34, and even Whitney Houston, 46. And after two weeks of attacks, TV viewers rallied to dial up and support her. Last night X Factor bosses said they could not comment on the voting figures.
