Just heard on XFM news Radiohead, Coldplay and some other band will not be performing at Glasto this year as they are playing at this years V festival apparently. Who can say if its true? if it is maybe worth thinking about getting tickets.

Promoters hope so... Oasis, Coldplay and U2 could all be set for residencies at London’s O2 Arena if the venue get their way. All three bands are expected to release new albums at some point in 2008 and bookers for the O2 are already said to have made enquiries. There's an interesting mention of Coldplay today in an article on Italian daily newspaper "La Stampa". In an interview, promoter Giulio Muttoni talks about the city of Turin as a leading venue for international concerts nationwide, and mentions the artists who will perform in town this year, and plans to bring even bigger stars on the next year. Other than the fix you music video, I don't recall them playing outside or at a stadium (apart from festivals) Will they ever? The Chicago concert at United center last year was sold out pretty fast so why not play at Soldiers Field (Bears Field)?

OMG!! I went to see Coldplay for the first time on the 19th and I loved it!! I love theyre music they make and love the lyrics and all but i NEVER thought that i would absoloutly fall in LOVE with this music when i went to see them Live!!! I have been watching the Toronto Concert over and over lately, can't get enough of it. I have been thinking about how insane it has to be to play with such energy and excitement in front of a crowd like that. I wonder how do you deal with all that?
