what a daft place for a gig!! last time i was here was 1993 to see depeche mode so once every 12 years is about right...great to see a gig in london under the stars or smog and great to see some rain and lightening..coldplay came on at 9.00 and did 1.5 hours again starting with the square one which leads into the moving politik ..great sounds.. great songs.. good atmosphere and yes people can do what they want!!they paid too..i was pushing to get near the front where there were gaps..and people just stare at you like `wheres he going`yes u can smoke and people are allowed to stand on mates shoulders if u dont like it tough `grow up`we all payed...chris did not speak too…

I'm putting together a review of the Bolton gig for my college magazine and I was wondering whether anyone can fill me in on small details, such as how many people were there at the Reebok? and what was the best song?... any help would be appreciated :cool:

My train fare from Portsmouth to Bolton and back cost me £72 but it was well worth it! (Even though it also took about an hour to get a train back to Manchester after the gig. And not to mention that it was also freezing!)

I'll be in the Munich concert the 9th of July. Do you have any recomendations as to what time to arrive and where to get settled once inside? Thanks!

thats right guys they filmed theyre next video tonight and the atmosphere was incredible saw them at glasto last week and they were just as good tonight they had to play fix you twice to get several different camera shots but it was so good. what did everyone else think

WOW! Just seen the band for the first time, and after a performance like tonight it won't be my last. This would have to be one of the best gigs I've ever been to, the atmosphere, sound quality and Coldplay were awesome. Only the rubbish weather and a delayed start by 15mins due to local traffic were the negatives from a tremendous night. All the old songs were thumped out and most from the new album. I went to both nights...... Monday night was great! We had VIP tickets because I did some promo for Morning Runner and so got to sit down- right in front of Paul McCartney! :o and around Morning Runner and their friends and family so that was cool. Macca went off by himself to go and buy ice creams which i thought was cool- he didnt have some minder do it for him! WOW!,What a gig.I was right up at the front of the stage and it was AWESOME!.Chris went on about how the night before they didnt play too well but how they were just back from Live 8 and how they were in a great mood!,i actuially noticed on Friday night they messed up quite a few parts of songs..Chris was going mental and was dancing about all over the place.The highlight of the night was DEFINITELY TALK!!!!,i almost died when the first few notes started playing.It replaced Swallowed By The Sea which is a shame cos i love that song.All in all one of the best gigs ive been too.Brilliant!.

Let me start by saying that Coldplay were beautiful on Friday night. We are veteran Coldplay fans at this stage, having seen them first nearly five years ago, and it was great to see the band enjoying themselves, with a great catalogue to choose from, and Chris Martin in particular, having grown into the role of frontman, comfortable and charming throughout. But the crowd was an absolute disgrace. Some highlights from left of the soundboard: * A guy was spitting flem & gum into girls' hair. * Everyone was completely pissed, not 'drunk' or 'merry', totally fucked. * A guy pissed himself and the back of some girl's legs. * Three times we got covered in piss/bee…

yeeeeeeeeeeees!! flying out to glasgow tonight... i'm SO excited about seeing coldplay tomorrow night :cool: this will be my 4th time seeing them perform live, but with the genius that is x & y i have a feeling that it is going to be the best gig...ever :D anyone else going? :)

Didn't take any pics on the Monday night coz the VIP bit was too far away (no mixing the VIPs with the commoners hehe!) :lol: but did take some pics on the Tues.......... Have no idea how i'm supposed to upload them but gonna try! I've enhanced them and zoomed them in but they still don't do much justce to our view considering we were at the barrier!

Hi, I can’t get to the crystal palace concert until about 6:30pm due to friends needing to work late. I have seating tickets, not sure exactly where as I don’t have them on me. Do you think it’s too late to go at this time? Would we have a difficult time getting to our seats? Would the dorrs still be open? Any advice would be greatly appreciated…

fooking yas! lastnight was phenominal! we went really early. i was a little pissed due to cheap awful white wine. i was bored of waiting so i drank. we got in to the pit. we were standing about. when they came on i started twitching. long story short i was at the very front and my hips are bruised. there are close pictures in my phone which has no zoom. fucking amazing. i wanted to go again tonight. i almost did. does anyone have the set list from lastnight?
