Coldplay have recently taken the 7th place in the top 10 most digitally downloaded artists in Australia. Their award-winning-grammy-grabbing-multi-plantinum-boom-bang 2002 album (:P) A Rush Of Blood to the head has taken 2nd place as the most digitally downloaded album in Australia, right behind the Ministry of Sound Album 2008. Coldplay recently announced they have scrapped plans to release a Coldplay live DVD from the recent shows in Toronto 2006. Instead, it is planned that it will be a televised event only, 'sometime in the future'. The DVD was due to be released at the end of October 2006, we now know this won't be happening. Just giving a heads up in case anyone else was interested: As well as his interview with Thom Yorke, David Byrne wrote an article for Wired called "David Byrne's Survival Strategies for Emerging Artists — and Megastars" where he interviews a number of people including Brian Eno. There are audio clips of that conversation on the Wired website, and in the clips Eno talks about his work with Coldplay. They are such idiots for treating their fans this way. How can anyone forgive them for bringing out x and y after so long. Its like they DONT care about their own loyal fans. I'm posting this message to represent the Dutch Coldplay fansite http://www.coldplayfans.nl We have been approached by a Dutch TV programme concerning 'Clocks' making the Top 10 of the annual NPS Radio 2 Top 2000 chart. The NPS people are desperately searching for hardcore Dutch Coldplay fans who'd like to express their adoration for the band for a special feature in a TV programme, preferably in a Coldplay-kind of environment (ie. a bedroom with several posters of the band, plus a fairly large record collection). Or perhaps fans who are able to play (and/or sing) any of the band's songs on piano/guitar. We haven't been able to find the 'ideal' Coldplay…

I heard James Blunts new song "Same Mistake" on the radio the other day and i was shocked at how similar it was to the scientist. It sounds like hes using the same oooo's at the end of the scientist that chris uses through out his whole song. I dont know kind of interesting to me.I think the scientist is a well known song even if u dont know or like coldplay.I think the oooo's at the end is what a lot of people remember if they really arent into coldplay.
