Dunno if you guys have seen this, but it's pretty sweet: Will there ever be a Coldplay Ipod? Now, that would be awesome! :D

It was said in a previous thread that Coldplay was writing a dark anti-war anthem that was 8 minutes long... any legitimacy to this statement? or am i just outta my mind...

Rumours of a Band Aid III 'Do They Know It's Christmas' were confirmed today. The collective ensemble will go under the name of Band Aid 20, as it's 20 years since the original was released, which was written by Bob Geldof and Midge Ure. It will be available from Monday 29th November on Mercury records, with all proceeds from the single helping victims of the famine in the Darfur region of Sudan via The Band Aid Trust. The track will be recorded at Air Studios in London on Sunday 14 November and be produced by Nigel Godrich, best known for his work with Radiohead. I haven`t posted in this part of the forum in ages But i was just browsing the aol broadband videos thing and i remember coldplay doing the aol sessions thing so i looked for clocks and they have now added Warning sign and Don`t panic The Warning sign performance is amazing its the whole band playing and its just beautiful thats the only word i can think of lol So if anyone has Aol or i think you can just go onto aol.com go have a look you won`t be disapointed!

well, not really. but it got your attention. ;) Anyone read the Gossip Girl series: Coldplay are mentioned twice in the book as a few of the characters' music of choice. Books about Coldplayers=teh cool. Guess the author is a fan. :p

Somebody's probably already posted this. Oh well. I got a free Shaun of the Dead poster when I went to see the film, and near the lower right corner in the border full of zombies, there's a particular undead person wearing a baseball cap that looks an awful lot like Jonny. I could be completely wrong, but man, the resemblance is uncanny. He was in the movie anyway, so why not the poster too? Here's the allposters.com link. It's pretty lo-res, though.

There is a weekly show on my local radio station 102.1 The Edge called 'The Ongoing History of New Music' and this week was about Coldplay. I don't know if this already been posted, but I was in the store the other day and I spotted Chris Martin on the cover of "Details" magazine. The headline said, "the world's biggest rock star or just Gwyneth's husband." So maybe somone can check that out.
