I was listening to radio 1 the other day and heard a great coldplay song off i think their first (?) ep which was about not letting a girl go, until she realised that chris was worth holding on to. Coldplay have ditched plans to rock the bonny banks of Loch Lomond this summer. Chris Martin's band were due to perform open-air gigs at the loch-side on July 2 and 3. But the group have pulled out after Strathclyde Police said the gigs would be difficult to police due to their preparations for the G8 Summit at Gleneagles from July 6 to 8. A spokeswoman for West Dunbartonshire Council said: "Coldplay will not be playing Loch Lomond on July 2 and 3. The band will be in France on these dates. According to this morning's newspaper, EMI will not be releasing the new Coldplay allbum before the end of this financial year (31st March). All they will say is that the album is scheduled for release before September.

Lol, I signed up for a German penpal lat year. She wrote to me but I lost the letter so I never got to write back. Well I just found it today and she goes, "....and I also like music very much. Shares in EMI Group Plc, the world's third-largest record company, slumped as much as 18 percent after the company cut its fiscal-year earnings forecast. EMI, where revenue has dropped for three straight years, is counting on new albums to lift earnings. I want to buy the Coldplay DVD, but there are three versions. I don't play guitar, so don't need tabs or something. I just want the DVD with the most "behind-the-scenes" material, because I have been at their concerts twice.

I am not sure if anyone has reported this yet, but the new Q Magazine on the shelves now says that the new Coldplay album is due in March! What's even better is they are saying the new White Stripes album is due in the summer!!! OH YEAH! :pleased:
