Live8 organisers have vowed to track down hoaxers who tricked charities into paying $95,000 (£50,000) to advertise at the star-studded London concert. Several British charities were contacted by a firm offering them fake 30 second commercials on the giant TV screens at the Hyde Park gig on 2 July (05). But Live8 organisers are determined to punish the those seeking to illegally capitalise on the buzz surrounding the huge showbiz event. I won tickets the other day yay! Anyone else going? Unfortunatley Muse have decided to drop out of Hyde Park and play Paris instead..grrrr and Placebo will be in Paris. So whoever goes to the Paris show will be extremely lucky buggers. Anyway i've not seen any topis about Live 8 (or maybe I just havn't been looking hard enough) so I thought I'd make one.. Yum.. :D

I went to see a mate play at King Alfred's Pub, Southampton, the other night and this band were performing too. They sounded a bit like Oasis/Stones Roses/Manics... basically indie. Saw Stabilo last night. Great group from Vancouver, BC. Hard to describe their sound. Radiohead break silence over new album Radiohead have broken the silence over their new album. Thom Yorke has told nme.com sessions for their new album remind him of working on "Kid A". The band recently regrouped to start rehearsing and recording new songs for the follow-up to 2003's "Hail To The Thief". The album, not due until next year, will be the band's seventh.
