Recently, much has been made of the so-called Decline in Customer Service. Supposedly retail employees have become surly, unresponsive, and not at all interested in catering to every whim of the Almighty Customer. Employees' worth can be easily determined by the size of the paycheck they bring home, and they're obviously never going to amount to anything .. they should be happy to prostrate themselves before the Customer in all matters. Right? Wrong. Unbeknownst to many, those of us who ARE retail employees -- who may have found ourselves in retail-related circumstances owing to unfavorable divorce settlements, unexpected widowings, or Mumsie and Father's inabilit…

You believe there's a God omnipotent, omniscient and omnipresent? well think about this! Is really God powerful enough to make the heaviest stone that not even he can get up? I mean if he can he couldn't get it up and if he could he actually wouldn't really be able to create that stone. :huh: So there's a natural incongruence for the idea of a God that can do anything. Any thoughts?

well....I wrote this in a forum from myspace in the "Coldplay versus Radiohead thread"....they all talked in a bad way about Coldplay and said they suck etc.....but with no convincing arguments..... How long does it take you to trust someone? I'm one of those people who judges people as either trustworth or not, from only knowing them a short while. I was gone for a weekend a while ago and I gave the key to my room to a friend, and I had only known her about 3 weeks. Thats some fair trust. Other people have to work a lot harder, in fact, if I dont trust someone within the first 2 weeks of knowing them, I probably dont end up trusting them, ever. It's also a hard thing to maintain from other people sometimes. You can feel natural dis-trust from people sometimes, and you have no idea how to gain it. It's a tricky thing.

I am going to Las Vegas in a couple of weeks and I was wondering if anybody could give me some ideas on where the best places are to go. :smiley:

so my brother caught me with alcohol, and he says he's gonna tell my parents on saturday if i dont first. i have evidence taht he has been looking at porn whichwould get him in alot of trouble with my parents aswell. so i was thinking of showing it to him and tell him not to tell. thats the only thing i can think of, because if he goes to my parents ill be grounded from everythign but school until i move out and i cant have that. i dont know any other good way to handal this.

If you could of been born anywhere in the world, where would it be? Ok....I know theres biological issues....ie. your parent and stuff, but just take it that you have the same parents and what not. In our german lessons we are talking about the 2nd dimension.....because we are now at the time of romantic.... We read books of that time and see how they went to a 2nd dimension in that time..... they made poetry of their all day life..... How do you deal with it? The last funeral I was at was of a friend who committed suicide, and I was so close to breaking down and crying that Im not sure how I held it in. For some reason I was really calm when I looked at other peoples shoes, just the part infront of the laces, where most people had a shine coming off of. And then I realised that I do that at every funeral, its a weird way of dealing with the actual funeral process. After that, I guess I just think about it but dont talk about it.
