'Harry Potter' Actress's Father and Brother Arrested for Threatening to Kill Her

 

 

Afshan Azad's father and brother threatened to kill the 23-year-old actress, E!Online reports. Azad, who plays Padma Patil in the 'Harry Potter' movies, was allegedly attacked on May 21.

 

Her father, Abdul Azad, and brother, Ashraf Azad, have both been charged with threatening to kill her during a fight in her Manchester home in May. Her brother, Ashraf, 28, has also been charged with assault occasioning actual bodily harm. Details about the alleged attack are sparse.

 

Abdul, 54, and Ashraf were in court earlier this week to face the charges brought against them and were subsequently released on bail. Court will reconvene on July 12 while committal proceedings occur to move the case to Manchester Crown Court.

 

The next 'Harry Potter' film starring the actress, 'Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 1', opens in theaters November 19. Azad's role as Padma Patil is her first professional role.

I sure am going to try some butterbeer and beans. I wonder what it will taste like. The butterbeer looks like it has caramel in it and i'm not a big fan of that, but we'll see. And the beans... as long as they don't taste like earwax or boogies, we'll be fine haha :lol:

The trailer was epic:awesome: i watched it about 3 times in a row when it cam out, it was amazing, i had forgotten how much i loved harry potter but the trailer brought it all back.

Sooo guys. I'm curious. Which Coldplay songs remind you of Harry Potter? Personally I say Death and All His Friends is perfect for Sirius. Death and all his friends, of course, would be Voldemort and the Death Eaters or possibly his family. Then I think The Scientist is a good Harry-leaves-Ginny-at-the-end-of-HBP song. And there's Death Will Never Conquer, which is Voldemort's song. Because if there's anyone who doesn't want to die in Harry Potter it's Voldemort.

I don't think Voldemort would want lyrics that go 'One day death is gonna conquer me', he wouldn't admit that. Perhaps Dumbledore?

True. I think the side of the songs that says "that I just don't wanna go." works with him though. It's kind of half and half. It doesn't fit as well as the other two songs.

And as for the deluminator Ron had, that will be Fix You. Lights will guide you home, :lol:

Oh that's just great! I never thought of that. I also think Life in Technicolor has such an uplifting feel to it that it reminds me of Harry first finding out that he's a wizard.

I haven't been listening to Coldplay lately. I'm just depending on memory. lulz

 

Anyway, I must get listen to any of the HP movies soundtrack one of these days! Have you listened to any of it?

I only have the third one and somehow I managed to make the track titles show up in Japanese in iTunes so I don't really listen to it. Major fail right there.
