Still readin Little Friend by Donna Tartt. I've only got 100 pages to go!! Feels like I'm never going to get there

Hamlet now, by Shakespeare. I love it. I just finished the Great Gatsby by Fitzgerald and A Streetcar Named Desire by Tennessee Williams.

That's for my english class, I'm reading James Joyce's Dubliners on my own, and I think I'm going to pick up some fresh literature tomorrow.

I love reading. whoo  haha

I'd recommend everything I'm reading to everybody, such classics!

I just saw a play about a week ago based on A Streetcar Named Desire :stunned:

It wasnt bad, but it wasnt good either.

Just felt like pointing that out :)

'Hamlet', such a classic. I have never been such a Shakespeare fan, but I can manage 'Hamlet'. Oh god, but his worst is definitely 'Macbeth' I couldnt stand reading that! :\

just purchased tracy chevalier's girl with a pearl earring. i never saw the movie which is why i decided to get it. it was an impulsive buy but i know it will be great.

Jonathan Strange & Mr Norrel by Susanna Clarke

I'm still in the begining so its pretty slow so far, but good.

I read Girl With a Pearl earring for school, I thought it was ok.. but maybe it was the over-analyse of it that ruined it for me. I wouldnt recommend seeing the movie version of it, its nothing like the book.

And I've read Wuthering Heights a few times, its a classic I love it

i considered seeing the movie but no film i've ever watched ever lives up to the book it's based on, it's always a disappointment. but to be fair i don't think anything movie makers can come up with can overwrite what the mind has already formed.

Next by Micheal Crichton.

I've been reading a lot of poker books lately. I think next I'll read Lance Armstrong's book. :)

The Alchemist for English class....

i loved it! i love mysitcal tone to the book.

Paulo Coehlo is the author. i read another of his books thinking it would be like the Alchemist ---errm the title should've given away the fact that it would be very different--- "Veronika Decides to Die"

With luck, I'll start tomorrow "La Peau de Chagrin" of Honoré de Balzac...

Eleven minutes, of Paulo Coelho...

I'm not really sure if I'll like it...I'm not a big fan of Paulo Coelho... :dozey: Anyway, I have to read it...

Paulo Coelho, yeah I dont like him very much either:(

Just started "Mission Song"-by-John Le Carre, very interesting so far!

The Catcher In The Rye by JD Salinger

Omg I don't think I've ever read a book that made me laugh so much! The style of writing and the voice...God I laughed out loud a lot while reading, and my mom looked at me weird.
