Love the band!

 

Saw them at the Brixton Academy a few months back. Wanted to see 'em at a 'members only' gig they put on at Koko last month, but couldn't get a ticket :(

I actually bought a second copy of this album in the HMV sale because I wanted the DVD that comes with the new edition

 

Now I feel silly :lol:

I kept hearing about Bloc Party, but didn't really pay much attention to them until recently. I downloaded some of their songs, and I really liked Helicopter..so I may go out and get the record. I think Matt is a great drummer.

I have and love Silent Alarm. Can anyone tell me if the remix album is worth buying? I'm always tempted but I kind of think it's a waste to buy the same album twice, in any form. If all the remixes are amazing though, that may be another story lol

oh look a Bloc Party thread, great! I bought Silent Alarm a few days a go and it's super, my fav songs are probably Helicopter and Banquet. Awsome band and an awsome album! :D

I just got an awesome B-Side off iTunes... "Hero." Definitely recommend it.

Bloc Party. Yes. I'm not sure what to think about their ''new'' song, but I adore "Silent Alarm". Seen them live once: as Interpol' support. It was something.

I like Two More Years the best among all of their songs.

I'm listening to the album for the first time in ages. Its pretty good.

its an awesome album!!! theres just something really new and exciting about their music, I love the way Kele Okereke sings things...repeating words and such, if that makes sense....the guitars and drumming is awesome too.

I feel left behind cos everyone was raving about this last year I remember :laugh4:
