I have to say watching how they worked the crowd, I think I understand alot more about why certain music is the way it is... but that philosophizing can wait till tomorrow after I've had sleep.

Yay! I saw them at Rockin at the Knox last year..... I went for the B52's and was pleasantly surprised with my now 2nd favorite band.

oh that didnt go to plan haha. i posted that a few months ago and totally forgot about it. nobody else was willing to come with me and i wasnt a genuine fan of any of the bands on the line up.

Glad this was bumped back up. I'll be seeing Metric on Dec. 13th as part of KROQ AAC. The timing couldn't be better, as I just so happened to get into them within the last few months. "Fantasies" is one of my favorite albums this year, and their past stuff is also really good. Oh, how I love discovering awesome bands that have existed for years and years. :P

 

Still have to check out Emily Haines and the Soft Skeleton.

Oh definitely check out her solo stuff. It is so beautiful and awesome.
