^Idk I didn't like it at all when I first heard it and after a while when I returned to it, songs started to pop out to the point that I'm playing it more than the first two albums now, it's been the album of the summer for me.

 

I still prefer the 10 songs/45 minutes format and Neon Bible is their most consistent to me, with Funeral being undeniably gorgeous but not without flaws (I think Win evolved vocally, I prefer his singing on albums after Funeral but I get why he sounded "angstier" earlier).

 

The Suburbs has some of their best songs, a great flow and not that many superfluous tracks.

I hope it's better than the last album.

 

For me personally, their last album was as good as they've ever been. I ADORE it. The entire thing as a whole is magnificent, bombastic, nostalgic and melancholy. I really can't imagine someone, not liking it... :\

The Suburbs was the album that got me into Arcade Fire. It was also the album that I have many good memories with, and the AF album that I can relate to the most. And that's why I love it.
