Arcade Fire

Do you think there will be an album stream briggs?

I really don't know. If it leaks for sure. With their upcoming tour before the release I wouldn't be too surprised if they put a stream up.

Yep. I discovered them thanks to Chris mentioning them in X&Y era interviews as an influence (or notably in Toronto 2006 "God gave you style and led you higher/God gave you the music of the Arcade

Yeah I got into Coldplay first and then slowly started getting into Arcade Fire. Once I started to realize their similarities and that Coldplay toured with them during the LVL era, it made me become a

Yeah, I followed a path similar to yours. I am a big fan of VLV and MX (the "midplay" era, ahah) and when I discovered that Coldplay mentioned several times AF as an influence during that period, I st

I really like both of these songs a lot!

THIS

Especially "Ready to Start"

So psyched for the album :wacky:

Aw this totally made my day ! I really wasn't expecting them to reveal another two songs !

And both songs are so damn good :wacky: I think I like "We used to wait" more but I'm not too sure yet.

:awesome:

Love both! I'm really digging the sound of the new songs so far. We Used To Wait is going to be a killer live. :D

Now I'm kind of tempted to listen the other unreleased live songs on youtube. :disappointed:

So these 2 will sure be on the album?

I think I'm gonna listen to them anyway, can't wait!

Good tunes!

Ready to Start = good solid tune, nothing groundbreaking though. Safe and classic Arcade fire? The bridge got me really excited when it slowed down!

We Used to Wait = Love it. Agree with single choice. It's got commercial appeal, and sounds a bit more 'pop', and the electronic bass.... nice! Agree this will sound good live, it's a bit less rocker than the others too.

hate to say it. but i kinda dont like either new song

maybe i need to listen to them in the context of the album.

My opinions have varied new song to new song, but I do love how this album clearly has a unique flavor of its own.

I'm still resisting listening to those two.. unless they release them in singles or something.

I'd like to listen to the whole together on the day it's leaked and be surprised in a good way or bad way.

I like every song so far (though I like "Month of May" less than the other 3), but I'm still holding out on that signature Arcade Fire song (or two or three) that blows my mind in every regard like the first time I heard "Tunnels" or "No Cars Go". And if that means waiting for the album, so be it.
