Basically its a comparison thread between coldplay and arcade fire and most the of the members are just like "is this a joke?'

I kinda did notice an interesting change in Viva La Vida tbh.

Well it's no secret that Chris Martin said Arcade Fire influenced VLV. He considered them and Sigur Ros the two best bands in the world at the time.

If Chris Martin didn't spend so much time kissing ass and stealing ideas he could come up with a decent song.

Didn't know that. And well, it's ok to be influenced by bands and all but what Coldplay did was more than that, it felt like they were trying too hard to be something they're not in that album.

Ever since I first listened to the album everything makes me want to listen to Arcade Fire :tongue:
