Rouven
in glastonbury this year, johnny had this nice leading riffs during Warning Sign which are not part of the arobtth version... it would be absolutely great if you could tab those! thx
shallumstuart
kapone can you do proof? i saw a version that sounds ok, but the tuning wasnt all weird, so it probably isnt :P
Ted
in glastonbury this year, johnny had this nice leading riffs during Warning Sign which are not part of the arobtth version... it would be absolutely great if you could tab those! thx I second that! I can already play Chris' part and some of Johnny's Ebow part so the rest would be much appreciated. Massive thanks to the earlier Warning Sign tab Kapone. It's spot on! :D
simonlebon89
hey, i figured a possible "Low" rhythm that i would say is pretty close to the real thing. i've listen to the live and studio version and i just figured out a knack for the rhythm. kapone, if you have any comments or corrections please do. Low Rhythm (assuming you know the strumming pattern. it's cut short, maybe use a muting effect with your palm) and it's standard tuning VERSE 0-7-5-0-0-0 5-7-0-0-0-0 7-9-0-9-0-0 8-10-0-9-0-0 5-7-0-6-0-0 0-2-2-0-0-0 0-2-2-4-0-0 <<< ending part going into the chorus CHORUS 8-10-10-9-0-0 5-7-0-7-0-0 0-2-2-0-3-0 5-7-7-6-0-0 i'd say the ending part is G and A..something of that sort. -------------------------------------------------------------------------- and here's Moses Rhythm just in case no one got it. tuning: EADGAE and CAPO on 2ND fret VERSE X-0-2-2-0-0 0-2-2-0-0-0 0 2 3 0 5-5-4-0-0-0 CHORUS 3-3-2-0-0-0 5-5-4-0-0-0 that's pretty much it. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- and just in case anyone wanted "One I Love" NO CAPO and it goes like this. tuning :EADGAE (same as Moses) ONE I LOVE INTRO 0-0-2-2-0-0 3-3-2-0-0-0 3-2-0-0-0-0 5-5-4-0-0-0 VERSE 0-0-2-2-0-0 3-0-2-2-0-0 2-0-2-2-0-0 0-0-2-2-0-0 CHORUS IS SAME AS INTRO END 1-3-3-2-0-0 0-2-2-0-0-0 0-0-2-2-0-0 --------------------------------------------------- and i have a tab for "I Ran Away." it sounds right to me so make with it what you will. tuning: E-A-D-G-C#-E VERSE 9-11-11-X-0-0 X-6-6-4-0-0 5-7-7-6-0-0 X-6-6-4-0-0 CHORUS 0-2-2-1-0-0 2-4-4-3-0-0 10-12-12-11-0-0 5-7-7-6-0-0 BRIDGE (it's piano but here's what i came up with for guitar) X-4-6-6-0-0 5-7-7-6-0-0 0-2-2-1-0-0 7-9-9-8-0-0 ----------------------------------------------------------------- and the early demo version of "Talk" which is my fav. it is standard tuning with a CAPO on the third fret. VERSE 0-0-2-2-1-0 3-3-2-0-1-0 0-2-2-0-0-0 5-5-4-0-0-0 i'm not really sure about the chorus. i suppose some of those chords above could be used. but yeah, there's some of it for ya. Geel
dunno if it's been mentioned yet, but for those who might be looking for an easier version to play Green Eyes: try downloading the acoustic set played at the Martini Ranch nightclub (look in the multimedia section of this forum). Chris and Jonny simply play G - D - Am, and in the chorus they go Am - C - G - D. (well I think anyway, I'm not really a genius, so feel free to correct). Also, they happened to play Green Eyes in Antwerp yesterday, with Guy on acoustic guitar, and he used yet another chord sequence (again, with basic chords). I didn't try to memorize it because I was focusing on the beauty of the song, though :)
Kapone
Ok, green eyes was played like this on the album... EADGBD Capo - 3rd (I think) 0---0---0 0---3---1 0---2---2 0---0---2 2---0---0 3---2---x I'll finish if anyone wants
