London Blasts

Featured Replies

Apparently the death toll from different sources range from 2 to 50...

We cannot assume as many News Channels

especially those from different countys get

it wrong we should know by tonight.

We cannot even say who it was or was not

as our leaders won't even say that yet.

i have good resources telling me our New World Leaders know all about it

This is just scary, just this morning before I went to sleep and before I knew this had happened I was thinking about the fact that I got a scholarship to the UK and I thought"God I'm getting out of my country,Going to Europe,There's a big chance I could be in any of those terrorist attacks"but then I thought"No,London hasn't seen any terrorist attack yet,so I'm probably safe"

and then I wake up tp this!I'm beyond mad right now,my prayers are with you and with this sad sad world...

From what I know didn't die many people...

That's not the point though

No, but is a relief this wasn't going like in Madrid...

No it's not the point family's have been torn apart

and people are very worried about loved

one's it doesn't have to be another 9/11

to cause people concern

Exactly and as they said the BBC News before, Al Qaeda attacks usually have huge death tolls, we just have to hope it's not a warm up.

my country is in alert i think, a military helicopter just has flown on my neighbourghood. :stunned:

I was just, shocked when I saw this on TV. Ive been expecting this to happen to London for a long time but now its come and Im still in disbelief.

Kasia its good to hear your ok.

I believe that the point of this attack wasn't to take lives, but to bring the capital city in England to a complete standstill. They did that.

I don't think so in a way yes but they knew

they would hurt and kill plenty of people.

According to BBC it just said "More than 33 fatalities confirmed"

It went up from 26 like, a min ago - so they're still having problems obviously.

And yeah, they knew people would be hurt aswell, but, well.. they don't care. I just think that if they wanted to cause as much death as possible, they would have done something a lot more effective than what they have done today.

It makes you wonder what it takes to make these

people think in such a sick way

Probably brought up that way, with some kind of bad teaching....

Not much we could have done about it, though. I think we all knew it was going to happen after 9/11. We just didn't know when. I think as far as reaction wise it's been really well worked at as far as evacuating and dealing with everyone went. Kudos to the services and the underground staff etc.

Oh, and Indiepixie, you joined on my 15th birthday :P (offtopic ness :P)

Oooh!! They know figures for different explosions!

21 at Kings Cross

7 at Liverpool St

5 at Edgeware Road

Unknown on bus though :/

i didnt even realise anything had happened til late morning! my fucking workplace dont tell us anything  :/

I've been watching since this morning and I'm still in shock! And if these attacks were aimed at disrupting the G8, why aim them at so many innocent people? I know that it has alerted everyone but how the hell can these people be so screwed up?!!

I hope none of you were affected by this horrible act of terrorism but if any of you have, I give you my deepest sympathies

yeah thats right, and there was a suspect package at a tube station that's not too far from my house :stunned: it's just all so extreme that it doesnt feel real you know?

My friend works in london, and he hasnt texted me back to say he's ok.. :(
