Thanks for all that Snowshine. She looks very elegant indeed.

Tom, my friendliness is actually genuine. I have nothing against you at all and I totally respect your view. I just like a good debate! What is great about this forum is that people can debate things and still stay friendly and once it's over, no one holds any grudges :)

But I do agree with Alyssa. This should end here. Or at least, if you want to carry on lets do it by PM, so poor Alyssa and everyone doesn't have to listen to it! :P ;)

No, this thread should be moved. It's got nothing to do with Coldplay.

I lover her so much! She's my favorite adcress! LONG LIVE GWYNETH POULTRY!!!!

She looksss like one of the elfses.

OMG :laugh4:

Poultry!!

How cool is that?

I just saw the Gwyneth Thread (don't kill me, I'm never on my computer! And I never came to this part of the Forum) and it was all like "Are they dating?" in 2002, and now, they have 2 beautiful kids! So cool!

I personally love her and I can't think of a better celebrity couple as them! They are both individually perfect!

Gwyneth Paltrow's Double Celebration

Gwyneth Paltrow celebrated both Christmas and Hanukkah this year.

The actress - who is married to Coldplay frontman Chris Martin - decided to honour her late father Bruce by celebrating the Christian and Jewish festivals with her family. A source told Britain's Daily Express newspaper: "Gwyneth made sure her family celebrated both Christmas and Hanukkah. Chris accepted Gwyneth's desire for the children to be brought up understanding their proud Jewish background, even at this early stage."

The 34-year-old is so keen to teach her two children - two-year-old daughter Apple and nine-month-old son Moses - about her father's Jewish roots that she has created a special family tree for them.

"Gwyneth has even had a family tree made especially so that she can show Apple and Moses where they descended from."

Bruce - who is said to have died due to complications from cancer and pneumonia in 2002 - is a descendant of a famous family line which has produced 33 rabbis over several generations. It has also been reported that Gwyneth wants Moses to have a Bar Mitzvah when he is 13.

can't see cutie Apple's face.

There's something that really annoys me about Gwyneth and I'm not sure why but it's always been this way. I mean, obviously I don't know her and don't really care much about her but I get a bit angressive sometimes when I watch movies with her, it's just so, urgh, I'm not sure if it's unconvincing but there is always something so fake about it.

Of course the fact that I don't like her as an actress really isn't so important. It's just odd when nowadays I see a picture of her in the press and I get annoyed and have to think of Coldplay at the same time.

So many people have problems with Gwyneth - some of them can explain it and actually have arguments I can deal with, some just feel that way, like you! I don't know.. Sometimes she has that thing of seeming a bit arrogant and cold, and she's often misunderstood with the things she says!

But I've read so many interviews and seen so many movies and appearances that I absolutely respect and admire her - I think she's genuine, honest and true and that's probably what bothers some people, because sometimes she's TOO honest.

It's true that she had a great upbringing - she went to the best schools, only hung out in celebrity circles. But that's not her fault, it's the surroundings in which she was raised, and I think her parents still did a great job in raising a conscious, great woman, even in such fake surroundings like Hollywood. Her mum is as lovely as she is, and a nice actress as well.

Don't believe what's in the papers - there are so many Gwyneth-haters out there! Watch her interviews at the Conan O'Brien or Jon Stewart late shows, where she seems fun and outgoing! Now that she's a mum, she seems so much more comfortable with herself and her life - she didn't seem like that when dating jerks like Brad Pitt or Ben Affleck (who were at least jerks at the time she dated them).. She's found the man who can make her happy, and I'm glad for her.

And you gotta admit, that the fact that Chris married this woman is reason enough to believe that she's a lovely person indeed ;)

You know, the thing is why or why you don't find people sympathic or not.

I don't think she's evil or fake or a bad person

I thought her problem back then was her eating disorder rather than her partners. Why was Brad Pitt a jerk back then? Or Ben Affleck? I thought they still liked each other anyway . I really don't know much about her, it's just that I don't really like her. I don't know her and obviously I only judge her on the view interviews I read and the movies I watched.

I'm not going to answer anything mean to the last comment, I mean everyone can be wrong in their lives...

Eh, I didn't really mean this. :P

I don't know her and thus I shouldn't judge, but I do because that's just natural. I don't mind her being with Chris and it's good for them if they are happy. All I'm saying is that she DOES annoy me and I don't really like her. She does seem honest and friendly and happy as you say but when I read a interview with her it often just makes me shake my head because she sounds so stupid sometimes. Not even always because she says something I disagree with but because it's something so obvious and the way she says it... argh. This always makes me angry, I mean not just with her. But I can't totally explain it.

(I don't mind the fact that she hung out with celebraties, after all I still even like Kate Moss :laugh3: )

Gwyneth didn't have an eating disorder... at least I don't remember anything like that being mentioned anywhere

She followed a microbiotic diet for a long time (not anymore), but that's not an eating disorder. The diet limits the types of food you eat e.g. no red meat, wheat or dairy, but you still eat regular meals! If followed correctly, it is a pretty healthy diet.

Really? I read interviews with her where she talked about her anorexia and so on. Maybe that was um, a fake interview, I don't know. But also remember another interview where she said that, and that it got really bad when her dad died.

Oh no, she definitely wasn't anorexic - and if she was, she certainly never talked about it! And she definitely didn't have an eating disorder when her dad died - that was short before she met Chris, and she certainly wasn't anorexic at all at that time.

Wow, press is shit. Thanks.

Mhm, I just looked for the interview and couldn't find it but I found another one where she's talking about the microbiotic diet you mentioned. It's not healthy at all! God. I don't know what your definition of eating disorder is anyway. I got an eating disorder but it's not as though I could always say 'Oh, it's this and that' so that people easily now. I'm not like there's only anorexia, bulimia and binge eating.

I'm not saying she had a eating disorder, maybe the magazines were just wrong I just want to say that eating disorders come in all kind of variations. In the end she could eat totally healthy and enough and still have an eating disorder, as it's primary something in your head.
