Oh god, someone else who has seen those commercials and been forcibly reminded of VLVOD!!! I swear, those commercials follow me (:stunned:), and the two things I never want forced together in my mind are Viagra and Coldplay. It's so disturbing! :bigcry:

 

At least I finally saw the VLV/Prospekt's commercial today- an updated version! It included the "nominated for 7 Grammy awards, including Song of the Year, Record of the Year, and Album of the Year"... When it came on I squealed/screamed, DVR'd it, and rewatched it (too) many times :P

By the way, I just received an iTunes gift card, and I immediately went and spent it all on Coldplay music videos!! I'm so excited, I now have 8 Coldplay videos on my iPod, plus $5 left to spend :D

For some reason they have all these videos from Austin City Limits on there, so I bought the Clocks one because I was curious... Then I got Fix You and Lost, since I already have The Scientist, Viva la Vida (the fun version), and LIJ.

 

I already have all of their videos on my computer, but not on my iPod, so this is fun!

my sister and i are making bell shaped cookies for christmas... of course... the first thing i thought of was coldplay's bell!!:D!!

I went into a gamestore yesterday, and suddenly I heard Fix You, and I was standing there singing all by myself while my friends are looking around.

The song ends and then Talk starts, and I was like "ANOTHER COLDPLAY SONG :D :D!" and they were like " lets go another place", so they left and I was still standing there a while to listen to the song :).

Free wifi at the airport and the first site I go to is this one :P I'm too addicted!

 

Anyway, I've discovered that my sister has an annoying habit of saying Coldplay lyrics in conversations (although she doesn't realize that, she doesn't listen to them). But it was driving me crazy, since every time she said one I thought COLDPLAYING WITHDRAWAL :laugh3: She said "We're inside a bubble", "I'm holding the key", "he's a big fish in a little pond" (who even SAYS that in everyday conversation?), and more...

 

Well, I'm off to the airport newsstand to look at the People issue that names VLV as the best album! The woman next to me is reading it, I want to steal it :lol:

This isnt really a thought but a great thing that happened to me today!

 

I went to my car 4 times. And every time I got in there was a Coldplay song on radio.

1st time it was Viva La Via

2nd was Lovers in Japan

3rd was Clocks

4th was Yellow

i had a really really really weird dream about coldplay last night where like, i saw jonny and he was in his viva clothes and he was wearing like a pink afro wig and then, i turned around and saw chris and i had the courage to go up to him and tell him that i was their biggest fan (which is a dream) and then we got talking, and he told me he had a screen name on coldplaying.com and i don't remember what it was, but i recongnized it as someone here and now i really think chris is on here!!!!!

Just a Creative Thought - If the band were to put a small forge on-stage (with fire-proof curtain around the back, and fireproof base), and add a small blacksmith's anvil - get some iron orange hot, and pound it into the shape of some sort of thing to ring the bell? Just an idea - the hammering could keep the beat of the music, and as soon as the metal was quenched, it could then be used as a bell ringer..

:P(and no, I'm not crazy!)

Two things:

 

a) I just went to Barnes and Noble, and they had Parachutes and X&Y on vinyl!!! I bought Parachutes, but my friend refused to stand next to me while I bought it because she hates Coldplay so much :angry: Anyway, the LP is beautiful :wacky:

 

b) On my flight home the other day I wore my Viva hoodie, and as I was boarding the plane the flight attendant did a double-take and went "did you go to their concert??"... I told him that I'd gone to three, and he was very impressed :P We had a nice conversation :)

 

I was really surprised that he knew it was a Coldplay hoodie just from the little "Viva" on the front, though, he didn't see the big "COLDPLAY" on the back. I always feel so ridiculously vindicated whenever I stumble across another Coldplay fan, though- I almost hugged him :lol:

So in holland there has been a 6 day radio marathon called serious request:

3 deejay's got locked into a 'glass house' in the middle of a square in Breda,and made non stop radio for 6 days. They didn't have proper food for those 6 days, and were only fed disgusting juices to give them their nesecairy vitamins only.

 

Listeners were asked to request songs in exchange for money, for example, I requested shiver and offered 25 euro's for it.

 

at the end of these 6 days the total funds collected would be donated to the red cross specifically for refugees in Kenia.

 

The deejays have been realesed and they've collected 5.637.937 euro's

they've created a list of every requested songs these past days coldplay is noted 23 times in that list, and Viva la Vida ended up in the top 4 of most requested songs. Just the viva la vida requests collected over 15.000 euro's :stunned:
