Random Coldplay thoughts...

I had to come home today :( However, it wasn't all bad. I was driving from 9 this morning till 6 in the afternoon (evening I guess? :P) and I had my playlist on. For the first part it was all the songs I liked on my phone that I'd liked to hear (my favorites playlist). The drive home, I put a playlist on of some sadder songs. However, it was really nice because as sad as I was it was a wonderful musical experience, for example I'm listening to the wonderful The Scientist right now and with the sun setting it was the perfect perfect song, just like every song that played then. And the one thing is, if I hadn't have to come home today, I wouldn't have had this wonderful melancholic musical experience! :D So I guess that's one good thing that came out of it.... (If you couldn't tell by now, I love driving... well I actually can't call it "driving" because most of the time Im not actually driving, but I think you get the point :P)

  • I just wanted to say, after 5 years of being part of the Coldplay fandom, first on Coldplaying, now on Coldplaying, Twitter and other platforms, a wonderful thing happened today: Coldplay followed me

  • I ran away
    I ran away

On this day exactly 5 years ago, a young and innocent person who was just getting really into Coldplay wanted to sign up on a forum called Coldplaying. Faced with the question of what to pick as a use

  • Today exactly 5 years ago, I joined the Coldplaying community and I don't regret that that. To be honest, it's probably one of the best things that have happened in my life! I had never thought I woul

I heard Hurts Like Heaven live on the radio!!! Very surprising, since it's from 2012 and live!

anyone here watched the Grammys last night?

the crowd appeared to be wearing xylobands during Taylor Swift's performance....

OMG I walked into a coffeeshop today and immediately heard a familiar guitar melody playing...and while my mind was still trying to figure out over all that crowd noise what it was, I heard "Maybe we could again"....it was Fun !!! What a pity that I caught only the very last line of it !

Jason is doing pretty well for himself I could assume, they've been all over the place.

I didn't watch it but I don't think those were Xylobands. She has been using similar glowing wristbands.

LOL @ copying Coldplay's ideas. Like make something original!

Goes to show that even some of the biggest acts can copy stuff that the real big act used first.

(Sorry if I sound dumb and Coldplay's actually not the first one, I don't know a lot about those things :P)

EDIT: yeah maybe Coldplay didn't make them, sure were the first one to use them, and it has "Xylo" in it so pretty obviously meant for Coldplay first

They're first....thats why the company that makes them is called 'xylobands' :)

Wow, any idea if this is on sale?

isn't that some kind of fanart or something?

I think so, coldplay mentioned an account called coldplaymania I believe

Uh just to clear it up

Xylobands were thought up by Jason Regler after, if I recall this correctly, seeing Coldplay on the Twisted Logic tour. He then created and got in touch with them. Since then Xylobands have become a product that anyone can purchase and use. Pixmob just appears to be a different company.

Yeah, I noticed it afterwards.

But I do like it.

it's super kuhl! :cheesy:

Hmmm....what does JTD stand for?

Probably her school name or initials since she's says her class year

OK so I had a really creepy experience. I put my songs on shuffle and Fix You was playing. Leading up to the "Tears stream down your face..." Part, I had a horrific thought. I knew the chances were so slim and Low. Like 0.00001%, but I thought of Coldplay at a live event and them playing Fix You. He suddenly just drops dead, and he actually died. Then Tears stream down your face, when you lose some (one in this case) you can't replace. The whole crowd would be crying. I am thought of this as the last moments of Fix You were actually playing. Then, guess what comes next? "Now my feet won't touch the ground". If that wasn't coincidental enough for you, " A Ghost " played next...
