Oh man, I forgot about this thread :wacky:

Right now on the schedule, I have The National in NYC in December and I'll go see Coldplay on the Today Show again in a few weeks. I also might see Walk The Moon and Fitz and the Tantrums in Washington DC in November.

I was SUPPOSED to see Kings of Leon again in August and I was SUPPOSED to see The Vaccines last night, but both got cancelled, and I never got Radiohead tickets for the Roseland Ballroom :bigcry:

This is my organized "artists seen" list that I copied and pasted :P:

2003

April 21—Good Charlotte (Less Than Jake, New Found Glory) (lolz, they were my friend’s favorite band and we went for her birthday)

2005

August 4—Coldplay (Black Mountain)

August 26—The Rolling Stones (Maroon 5)

September 9—Green Day (Jimmy Eat World)

October 4—Paul McCartney (No opener)

December 7—U2 (Institute)

2006

October 9—The Strokes (South)

November 8—Death Cab For Cutie (Ted Leo + The Pharmacists)

November 28—The Who (The Pretenders)

2007

I refuse to believe I didn’t seen ANY concerts in 2007, but it appears as though I didn’t? The Killers were on the same day as my senior prom, I remember that, so I didn’t go

2008

June 27—Coldplay (On The Today Show, kind of doesn’t count)

June 27—Pearl Jam (Ted Leo + The Pharmacists) (Two shows in one day, bro)

August 13—Radiohead (Grizzly Bear)

October 26—Coldplay (Duffy)

November 1—Coldplay (Duffy)

2009

May 23—Coldplay (Howling Bells, Pete Yorn)

July 30—Coldplay (Elbow)

September 19—Coldplay (White Lies, Girls Aloud, Jay-Z)

October 28—Phoenix (Chairlift)

November 24—Snow Patrol (No opener)

2010

May 26—Jónsi (The opener never said who the hell they were)

September 16—Vampire Weekend (Dum Dum Girls, Beach House)

November 25—Coldplay Christmas Lights video shoot (TOTALLY does not count as a gig, but it’s as important as one)

December 8—Coldplay shooting of Christmas Day Top Of The Pops (Also not a gig)

December 19—Coldplay (The Choir With No Name)

2011

April 15-17—COACHELLA MUSIC AND ARTS FESTIVAL (!!!, Tame Impala, Warpaint, The Drums, Interpol, The Black Keys, Kings Of Leon, The Joy Formidable, Freelance Whales, Foals, Two Door Cinema Club, Broken Social Scene, The Kills, Mumford & Sons, Animal Collective, Arcade Fire, Jack’s Mannequin, Whiz Khalifa, Nas & Damien Marley, Death From Above 1979, Duran Duran, The Strokes, Kanye West)

May 1—SWEETLIFE FESTIVAL (Modern Man, US Royalty, Walk The Moon, Theophilius London, Ra Ra Riot, Cold War Kids, Crystal Castles, Lupe Fiasco, Girl Talk, The Strokes)

June 26—The National (I forgot the name of the openers, dammit)

August 2—Death Cab For Cutie (Frightened Rabbit)

[CANCELLED] August 13--Kings of Leon (Band of Horses)

[CANCELLED] September 30--The Vaccines

[PENDING] October 21--Coldplay (on the Today Show)

I like how my schedule for the first two days was practically identical to yours. :laugh3: (in fact, I'm pretty sure my Saturday was 100% identical)

I'm seeing Elbow tonight, Friendly Fires in 2 weeks, and Mates of State next month. Pretty empty list compared to the last 6 months of my life.

Did you have stand through them on the main stage at Oxegen? You poor thing ;___;

I did . Was waiting for Coldplay, which was 110% worth it, because I think that was the best I'd ever seen them, music-wise.

Haha! We probably saw each other somewhere along the way. Saturday was my relaxed "go with the flow" day until Mumford & Sons through Arcade Fire, which was painful. Sunday...oh my God, as great as it was, I never want to relive that day.

Saturday was my relaxed "go with the flow" day until Mumford & Sons through Arcade Fire, which was painful.

Yeah, that was a long several hours holding firm for the acts leading up to AF. I didn't barrier camp any days at Coachella like I did at Lolla and Outside Lands, though. Not moving from the main stage for 12 straight hours straight takes a LOT of endurance.

I tried to barrier-camp for The Strokes. Of course Sunday would be the hottest day...we managed until Death From Above, which was a SHIT SHOW. People were losing consciousness left and right, getting crushed near to the point of asphyxiation, girls getting pushed over by huge guys, getting kicked in the head and bleeding...I got out during Duran Duran and watched from the back, heartbroken. It was a wise choice for my safety, but the two other festivals I've seen The Strokes at this year were NOTHING compared to Coachella, and they were pretty dangerous themselves. Even Nick Valensi from The Strokes came out during DFA to survey the damage and looked concerned :P
