DBTT will probably be in my CD player for another few days, after that who knows. I'm starting to get bored now though...

<< I also dislike it, they'll never get that sparkle of the Britpop days back

I think is a great album, much better than Heathen Chemistry and finally up to the old days.

You can expect the new songs to mean the same as the old stuff to you, expecially if you're not a fan yet. But it's musically very good.

yeah man its blinding. gets better after every listen.

guess god thinks im abel, turn up the sun, and the importance of being idle, are my faves as of right now.

really, really good album.

  • 3 weeks later...

definitely maybe can never be beaten

i think its a bad idea to compare oasis' albums cos you just get frustrated that the recent ones arent as good!

right i've listened to it all now

i think its better than heathen chemistry definitely!

'Love Like A Bomb' is a nice little tune :)

i didnt even know it was realised yet :stunned:

Isn't it realised on 30th May? :/

At least it isn't realised now here. :(

Oasis...

I just started listening to a few more of their songs after starting off with Champagne Supernova, Wonderwall and Lyla - and I must say, they've quickly climbed the list of my favorite groups to nearly the top. Outstanding songs worth listening to:

Champagne Supernova

Wonderwall

Lyla

Masterplan

Don't Go Away

Don't Go Away (acoustic version - simply breathtaking)

Live Forever

Half The World Away

And for those interested, Coldplay covered 'Live Forever' - which is pretty damn good too. If you guys listen to any of the above, let me know what you thought about em :)

they are ok but extremely overated! most of there music sounds the same and needs touching up, they need to change there style a bit or at least vary it and STOP BEING SO COCKY!!!

Nah, mate, if anyones overrated it is Coldplay, in my opnion Oasis don`t get enough credit.

oasis first 2 albums were really really good, i havent heard the new one but i will soon, but i dont think it will be better then the other ones. but still oasis is cool

My favourite band is Coldplay but I admit that Oasis is the most important band in the last 15 years, simply as that. If they had another attitude they easily would be considered the best band in the world.

Oasis is the greatest band of the last 15 years, I have no doubt about it lol

I think that's impossible......you can't invent it again :S d'you know what I meeeeeeeeeaaaan yeah yeah.
