I really enjoyed it, its basically a very well made flawless revenge movie, but sometimes it needs to slow down the pace and explain whats going on. Other than that its a great film.

 

Especially when the action scenes are so fast, you have no idea what is going on.

 

 

And from the comment on the last page about how Dalton killed the francise, I think you'll find bond's hyatus was due to the cold war finally being over. Licence To Kill and The living daylights are among my favorates.

Didn't think much of it at first, but it has grown on me so much and I can't wait to see this, been playing the video game, which is made on the CoD4 engine, so good.

I've just seen it and actually, it was really better than I expected. Sometimes too fast, indeed, but really entertaining. And Daniel Craig is a good James Bond (I didn't see "Casino Royale").

You should really see Casino Royale as I hear you actually have to know a lot about it to even grasp the story of the new one, so I don't undersatnd how you got away with not even seeing it

Actually, I understood the Vesper story in broad strokes. I know I must have missed a "part" of the film, but it still was great for me.

And it made me want to see Casino Royale, too ;)

Hmm, I'm not keen. The new theme is crap, and the movie really needed a decent plot. You can tell it wasn't one of flemings novels...

I'm back!, And it was, umm....alright! :D, It was enjoyable, yeah, but not as good as Casino Royale, to be honest, at parts, i didn't understand it!....But, worth watching!, DEFINETELY! :D

I have to agree, not as good as 'casino royale', but it was still a great movie, will be buying the dvd when it comes out for sure. I am falling in love with daniel craigs bond more and more, hes fantastic!!!

I Also agree, it wasn't as good as Casino Royale as the ending for that was fantastic, this left a bitter taste in the mouth, but, yeah, enjoyable!

Can't wait to see this once it comes out in America. I loved Casino Royale but I thought it was a bit too long and there were some dumb bits. I like (relatively) short movies.

Me too, and that goes for the comedy dialogue too. The franchise has now gone "serious" again, which is how it should be.

There is still the odd bit of humour in the film, but without the cheese.;)

Craig is the best Bond ever, and there appears to be a great chemistry between him and Dame Judi, who is superb as M.

I agree that Casino Royale was better, but Quantum is great too. If you haven't seen it, you won't be disappointed.;)

I just got back from seeing it.

 

It wasn't bad, definitely not the best... and I do think Casino Royale was better, but this one was still fairly enjoyable. I think it failed slightly in the plot department, and was a bit confusing at times, but if you like insane action scenes... then I definitely recommend it. :P
